where can I download this drama with English subtitle?
Hi @DragonAlien, if it's not too much of a bother, could you possible upload the subs somewhere else? I can't seem to download the one on tusfiles. Thank you.
Oh I absolutely love this movie. I'm maybe biased but I don't think any movies with Choi Min Sik could ever go…
On DVD :)

But anyway, I'm not trying to make you watch it. Just my two cents :)

I understand your point. I was skeptical about the series as well, not only because of the large age gap, but also because I didn't think I could digest the extramarital affair plot line. So I was having doubts on whether or not I should watch it. But I recently got acquainted with Kim Hee Ae (the main actress) through the variety show "Noona over Flowers" and just felt the urge to see her next project. So I gave this one a shot. And to my surprise, I am intrigued. What I appreciate is that most noona romance is delivered in a rom-com package, this one isn't, which feels very mature and sophisticated. And no, the show does not glamorize infidelity at all. Moreover, the two leads' characters are portrayed in a way that you really believe they are in the same wavelength despite their age gap, hence their interest in each other and the beginning of their affairs.

By the way, I see that In the Mood for Love is also one of your favorite movies (Mine as well, yay!). If you like that one, I think you would enjoy Secret Love Affair as well. I see that you don't like Noona romance, but if you can get pass that, this series has the same mature, intense, dark, and melancholic undertone with In the Mood for Love, as well as a great cinematography and music. So, if you can get pass the 20 years age gap between the two main leads, I think you will love this.

Hi haha yes, it's ok. I figured it was a bug. :)
Yes, I'm watching Wonderful Days. I started watching because I loved Lee Seo Jin in Lovers and Grandpa over Flowers and Kim Hee Sun in Faith and would love to see them collaborate together. I haven't seen much of the writer's works (Nice Guy and When Will it Snow for Christmas don't really attracht me), but I did love one of her works, which was Thank You. So I gave this one a shot and I really like it so far. Yes, there are makjang elements, but in my opinion, it's not that bad. So far, there are only 3 or 4 plain annoying characters, and the rest of the characters, though not perfect, are quite easy to warm up to. Give the first 6 episodes a try, at least for Seo Jin ;)

HUGE SPOILER!!!!!!!!!! ...did i get it right: after resigning she feed him and after busines failure she started…
OMG, thank you! This is exactly my sentiment as well. Moreover, after watching episode 2, I'm much more inclined towards calling the husband a j*ck*ss.

You think that kind of character that promotes (if not glorifies) noble idiocy? Oh no, Sam Soon is not like that. I don't like that kind of character either, trust me. I think you should give it a try, at least 3 episodes, and drop it if you still don't like it. :)

Honestly, all of Kim Ki Duk's works are arthouse films. I particularly liked "Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring". :)
Cute story and it truly gave me more insight on Chinese traditional culture. But honestly, the execution is quite poor. Nonetheless watchable.

Haha, I also watched Oshin when I was a kid, the whole family watched it so I watched it too. It's technically the first Japanese drama I watched. I re-downloaded it recently and have been rewatching the episodes. 297 episodes might seem long, but the duration of each episode is only 15 mins. And you can always take it slowly, no rush!
And yes, I've been planning to watch 3-iron. I just need to find the right mood to watch it. In the Mood for Love is one of my favourite movies. :)
Good movie, good story, excellent acting. After all, it's the remarkable Seol Gyeonggu and the lovely Miki Nakatani together in a movie. Of course it's worth watching.

There are other sweet characters too (e.g. Hideaki Takizawa's character in Boku Dake no Madonna or, again, Tsumabuki Satoshi's character in Slow Dance), but these characters are rare. Most of the male characters in Asian romance drama start off by being a jerk. They only become sweet after they fall in love with the female lead characters. This is one of the many things that makes Orange Days different from most of romance drama. Whereas most of other them start off with the guy being the rude one and the girl being the sweet one, Orange Days is the other way around. It starts off with the girl being the rude one and the guy being the sweet one. And Orange Days is not only about romance, it's also about friendship and dreams. Have you watched Slow Dance? Tsumabuki Satoshi is in it as well, and he's playing a nice guy again. Only this time his love interest is an older woman :)
A good movie with a sweet story about tragic love portrayed through a beautiful set and cinematography. Great performances by the actors and actresses. Song Hye Kyo is very beautiful as Jin Yi. If you like this one, I'd recommend a Japanese movie called Ooku with Nakama Yukie. You might like it too.
