Title The Crown Princess Spoiler
That face at the end of "in session" looks pervy XD and also I really don't trust Kate. She's the one trying her…
Haha, I can't wait for the next episode for more love in the air.

And what if Kate wasn't turning bad, but she'd been bad all along?
I mean psychological speaking (not that I'm an expert in psychology or anything), I think it makes sense that she's the one that's been trying to get Alice killed all along.

She longs for attention because almost everyone in her family have never given her the love and attention that she needs ever since she was young. She's always been cast aside as a side character, even though she thinks she lacks nothing compared to Alice. She also has the good looks that Alice has, comes from the same background, had the same education, etc, etc. But why has Alice always been favored by grandfather and Alan by Mom and Dad?

So what if she's always been this jealous character all along, but had always managed to suppress her feeling and put up the facade of being kind and angelic, because after all, that's probably the only merit that she could take pride in.

But this all changed when she started to take a fancy to a man, the first man that was ever nice to her (Prince Will), only to find out that the dude ALSO favors Alice instead of her. That jealousy she's had all along can't be suppressed any longer, and turned into hate.

Prince Will wants Alice, not because Alice is any more good looking than her. But because she's THE crown heir. So she HAS to kill her in order to be the ultimate heir in the end. This way, she'll get Prince Will. She knows that her grandfather will NEVER make her father nor her brother the crown heir. So she knows, if Alice is out of the picture, she'll be that.

So yeah, I think Kate's the one behind Alice's assassination attempt. But I hope I'll be proven wrong, because I don't want her character to go down this route. It's just too sad and I do sympathize with her character.

YA THE SUB.... Like soooo not fair....
You should get an email (at the email address that you use on your paypal account to donate) with passwords to stream their videos on their site and/or an invitation to join their private facebook group where they also upload their videos.

If you haven't gotten the mail, then you can send them a message on facebook, they usually respond quite fast.

Just watched ep. 6:
- Their knives fight scene... was defo a foreplay. (¬‿¬)
- Lmao, the bra washing scene in the river.
- Aww... Princess is getting jealous. (✿´‿`)
- But pretty sure Matmee is just like a sister to him. And the one she's marrying is not your yummy looking bodyguard, so no need to get jealous, Princess! ~(˘▾˘~)
- Hmm, was it an archery lesson... or seduction in session? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
- Lt. Commander confessed his feelings indirectly about a certain "someone" who occupies his heart, but that certain "someone" was too clueless to put 1 + 1 together (~˘▾˘)~
- Who else thinks Kate is actually the one trying to kill Alice??? (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง

The situation with the subbing was really such a shame. There's always this one selfish and short sighted person…
The subs situation seems to have already been resolved now :D

Have you watched 5 & 6?

Placing this on hold because of the sub situation.
The situation with the subbing was really such a shame. There's always this one selfish and short sighted person who ruins it for everyone.

I tried to watch episode 5 raw. And although I don't know what they were saying, but that doesn't really matter, since you still can get quite the gist of it, and plus the eye candies are still there to stare at ;)

why majority drama uploaded here no english or malay subtitles? Please do some effort...
I don't get what you're saying. Who needs to make efforts for what exactly? And which uploaded dramas? There are no dramas uploaded in this site because this site is totally not a streaming site where you can watch dramas online. Mydramalist is just an online database of information related to Asian cinemas and TV-shows.

If you want to watch the dramas online, then you have to go to a streaming site, be it licensed ones or illegal ones. If you watch on licensed streaming sites, like dramafever, viu, netflix, viki, etc, then subtitles are automatically provided. If you watch from the illegal ones, then subtitles are also included, but they're most likely stolen, either from the licensed sites, or from fans who sub voluntarily.

In case of this drama (Crown Princess), there's a dedicated fansub group who is subbing it: SJDK. They are subbing this drama but all subbed videos are not accessible to public yet. They will be released to public after the drama is done airing, due to some copyright issues.

However, if you're impatient like me, and don't want to wait until the drama is done airing, then there is another way to view the subbed videos: Donate. If you make a small donation as a thankful gesture for all of their hard work, then you will have access to the subbed videos. But again, you DON'T have to donate to view them. You just have to patiently wait until the subbed videos are released to public once the drama is done airing.

This is my second lakorn, the first one being Oum Ruk, and I'm going to be honest here, I'm watching this one solely for the eye candies.

Seriously, after watching the first 2 episodes, there are just so many flaws in the plot, editing, and executions that would make you go "Huh?" and then "yeah, right", to an even straight "wtf". And some things didn't even make sense at all, I would just laugh. But somehow I kept on going. Because the male lead is just too drool for (He kinda reminds me of Mark Chao, and damn he's hawt! Yum yum!), the female lead is gorgeous, and most of the casts are just good looking.

So yeah, I'm superficial that way, but what can I say, they are just too attractive, and therefore I will stare at them!

But having said that, despite those flaws, there's one thing that I really appreciate from this lakorn (at least based on the first 2 episodes that I've watched). And that is the fact that they make the female lead character so feisty and strong.

Having her as a princess and with the bodyguard plot, they can easily portray her as a weak damsel in distress that would only rely on her (super yummy looking) bodyguard to protect her. But no, they decided to portray her as someone that can stand up for herself and that can really kick other people's asses (literally) too. Strong and feisty! I love that.

Clearly we the audience know that Pan Jian Chi/Li wang Ping was the person who assasinated Fan zhi Zheng. Yi Lian…
They cut out the scene where Yan Yun found the pen which led her to figure out who her father's killer was. She made the uniform to confirm her suspicion.

"[continuation...] 2nd brother’s vileness, the songstress villanary and eldest brother and his wife's relationship as well as why Qin Sang is so hell bent on believing 2nd brother wants to kill Elvis were all deleted. I'm up to about ep 20. I do not like the way the female lead Qin Sang is written. This drama has much promise…
Quoting tyn123's comment over at avirtualvoyage.net:

"Apparently both the writer and Sun Yi said there were a lot of Qin Sang’s scenes cut so her character makes no sense.

The writer seemed super angry and even uploaded the scripts of some of the scenes that were deleted. In the original story Qin Sang character makes a lot more sense and it establishes her relationship with both Elvis and Jeremy’s characters and her own conviction on doing right by the both of them. Hmm, does this really have time-travel? I know it's a no-go in China...
This is a misconception, time-travel in drama/movies has never been banned in China. It's more about whether or not the story distorts some real events/characters in the past. If it does, then that story will most likely be banned.

This thread may help clear some things up:

This author also wrote Too Late to Say I Love You, and it has the same obsessive, intense romance but I would…
Agree. I usually steer away from any drama adaptations of this author's novels because of the recurring sexual assault theme. I watched Le Jun Kai, which was also adapted from her novel, and it was just... horrible. I really appreciate that they decided to portray some things differently in the drama version of Siege in Fog.

Do you mean "Secret of the Three Kingdoms"? That's on my PTW list as well! :D

Tragic ending is usually not my cup of tea, but I decided to give this drama a go anyway because it still intrigued me. Episodes are now flying in the blink of an eye, one after another. I still don't know if I could handle that ending, but heck, I say bring it the *F* on, show! That's just how much I'm hooked into this.

After reading the first few chapters of the novel, I realized that Lan Po's character in the drama version is much more likeable than the novel version. In the novel version, he's just so much more of a jerk.

Also, in the drama, it is said that the state of conjugal relations between the couple is pretty much non-existent (QS is supposedly still a virgin), whereas pretty early in the novel, they did have a sexual intercourse (I would even so much call it a rape, since QS didn't wholeheartedly consent).

Now we're all rooting for Lan Po in the drama because it's all heavily romanticized, and there were even a few times when I was frustrated with QS, for behaving in a certain way towards her (supposedly loving) husband, but then again, knowing how he is portrayed in the novel, I realize that it would be really hard to root for this kind of character in real, and it is actually quite logical for QS to behave the way she did towards him.

Or maybe I should blame it on Elvis' sexy eyes and smile? Like, there's no way those sexy eyes and smiles could be the eyes and smiles of a jerk, isn't it?

Anyway, this writer totally deserves her nickname.
Brace yourself, heart, you know what kind of ride you're getting into!

If you don't mind older dramas, I would suggest: Orange Days, Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, Buzzer Beat. I think you'd like them :)

I'm so fucking sad right now. I watched this mostly because of Dong Hua and Feng Jiu. It was painful to see…
Just read the second book of the Three Lives Three World series if you're into Dong Hua and Feng Jiu's story. The drama didn't depict their story correctly as per the book because the producers didn't manage to buy the copyright for the second book.

You can find the English translation of the second book here:
