Good movie and solid performances. Definitely not an easy watch, because story-wise, it is heart wrenching and very depressing, just like that one anime from Ghibli, "Grave of the Fireflies". This one is indeed more slow paced though. But I am grateful that they make it that way, not the dramatic way. Otherwise it'd be just too damn hard to watch. I also like the song in the end when the two kids were in the train.
That was a sweet story. Not too dramatic, rather light. Nice to watch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. And as usual, Aoi-chan is so sweet and Jun Ki is hot.
Typical Korean romantic comedy show. If you like other titles like My Girl, Full House, Fantasy Couple, etc, etc, you'll definitely like this one as well.
Besides, Lee Wan is darn yummie in this one. Smile
A simple story about lost souls trying to regain humanity. Wrapped in a unique sci-fi thriller, with a very compelling plot of vengeance and a whole lot of gun battles. It's interesting to watch. Reminds me a bit of Battle Royale.
At first sight, the story might seem to be simple and typical to be turned into another "real life drama", but in fact, the characters actually develop not accordingly to what one might expect of their stereotypes and the story progresses to something which one might not have expected. In the end, it leaves you with a somewhat heartwarming feeling and you just want to wish all the best for them both, wherever their paths might lead.
Wong Kar Wei's masterpiece. Both visually beautiful and emotionally moving.

Hey I stumbled upon your profile and saw that your first japanese drama was Oshin. Haha, how nostalgic. Same here, Oshin was technically my first japanese drama as well. But a little correction though, it's not a 90s goodie. I watched it together with my whole family when I was a little kid, back in the 80s ;)

Ah, I'm 2 years younger than her. Gonna turn 31 next month. Not that being 30 is a bad thing, but sometimes it just feels like life goes by pretty fast and you can't help feeling old because of that. :p Anyway, I studied communication management, but I ended up working in IT. :) What about you? Are you still a student?

I was attending the preparatory courses at the studienkolleg aan der Fachhochschule Köln. I was going to study there hehe, but it didn't work out in the end so I ended up doing my study at the Utrecht university instead. Ugh, now you roughly know what my age is :p

Ohh cool, I lived in Köln for around 6-7 months back in 2000-2001. Loved the city, loved the Kölner dom! I live in Utrecht now, it's a city in the centre of Holland. :)

Don't mention it, I felt like saying it and I meant what I said. :) And here's my favourite Korean saying for you: "Hwaiting!" :D

Oooh let met know how it is after the first episode :D
I want to watch this but do the main couple end up together at the end? Or is it like Faith where the guy is not…
Erm, out of topic from Rooftop Prince, but I need to straighten this out: In Faith there's no reincarnation or whatsoever. The guy in the end is the same guy all along in the series. One character, one actor.
Very interesting first episode. Already love the chemistry between the two main leads. And since it looks like it's gonna be a mix of fantasy, sci-fi, family, and romance, I'm totally in! Looking forward to how the rest of the story will play out. :)
Besides, Lee Wan is darn yummie in this one. Smile
