Came here to say that the last episode was crazy upon crazy. I kept wondering what's gonna happen next đ that was one wild ride before the ending. Nam Joo Hyuk absolutely nailed the whole dark character.
I've been watching this without subs, I don't understand what they're saying but the cinematography and acting are gripping enough. I know this isn't romance-focused but seeing the chemistry between Hu Ge and the female leads here (without any fluff or intimate scenes) just through eye contact and conversations is just so amazing. Like can we maybe get a romcom between Hu Ge and Li Li??
this is actually top 10 only after 2 epsiodes on netlfix in my country. I was actually happy , I'm all for the spotlight on kdramas. Anyways I'm looking forward to this , love the vibe but the biggest thing is the chemistry and banter between the leads! can I also say that Song kangs face card is just mindblowing?
I legit came here to leave a comment wondering when a newly released drama will match this. Seriously this was…
Moon lovers:Scarlet heart and Empress Ki led me to this drama đ I wanted something similar and I found the recommendations on the cdrama sub on reddit.
Started watching this and came here to say that Cheng Yi is truly a gift to chinese dramas. I just love watching him in anything he does , he makes it worth it with his acting.
So I know I'm only 4 epsiodes in on part 1 and this may seem naive but I'm so overwhelmed right now that I just need to say that my dearest better win every freaking award there is because I'm freaking blown away right now. Whats funny is that I almost dropped it because it seemed so slow for ep 1 and 2 but epsiode 4 just blew me off my seat.
Did we watched the same drama? Because everything you have said were just the opposite. This is the first cdrama…
The first line of your sentence doesn't make sense considering the context of my commentâit's a differing view, so naturally, it's the opposite.
The assumption that my opinion is personal raises questions. Is it considered personal solely because it diverges from yours?
While I may not share your enthusiasm for the drama, I do respect your perspective and the impact it had on you.
"not stupid to see through your opinion" - Life's not a boomerang, and opinions are subjective. People who've watched and understood the drama can have diverse views, and that doesn't make them foolish or stupid like you've implied.
A piece of advice, given with consideration: before implying, invoking karma, and questioning someone's maturity, take a moment to reflect on your own comment. Genuine maturity lies in creating a space for diverse opinions without resorting to disrespect. Thank you.
I am just happy that hidden love is getting hype and support from non-cdrama viewers instead...never seen a simple…
I believe the notion of uniqueness in this context is largely subjective. I think whether it's unique or not depends on personal feelings/emotional attachment , so it's kind of hard to question. We might see it differently because we felt different things, but that's okay. I'm glad the show meant something to you.
Your opinion but not majority for sure lolâŚâď¸
'de gustibus non est disputandum' - "In matters of taste, there can be no disputes"
Heres another one: De gustibus non est disputandum, sed ridiculum potest risum provocare - "In matters of taste, there can be no disputes, but the ridiculous can provoke laughter."
Your choice to level a one-sided accusation without providing the full context suggests a deliberate attempt, as implied by your comment, to label me as a mere 'troll' and 'hater.' Now, with my response in hand, your retort is, "Suddenly I feel look like a fool responding to a parody account."
The use of terms like "fool" and "parody account" in this context is ironic, given the nature of your own reply. Thank you for the response, we can end this trail of absurdity here.
Your opinion but not majority for sure lolâŚâď¸
My initial comment was a direct response to another user while I was still watching this show but it's amusing that you conveniently omit the complete context when referencing it. This includes the individuals involved, their comments, and your reply - this shows your inclination to manipulate words. If you have the time for such games, go ahead, but be aware that I won't be responding further since it's evident that your intention is to exploit this situation. It seems that differing opinions are frowned upon in this section, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't use this situation to discredit my viewpoint.
" I know coz she fooled me twice and I answered her. ' ' She just camps in this drama comment section (and she isnt the only one who's doing that), posting the same unpopular opinions'
- Let's clarify: did any of my comments promote hate speech or exhibit pure hatred? Let's focus on addressing the fundamental aspect of your accusation. Regarding the remark about camping out and commenting randomlyâthis is an MDL comment section, a space for viewers to share thoughts on shows. Making multiple comments is not abnormal. If you were to examine your own activity, you'd find a similar pattern. The discrepancy? I expressed a view you disagreed withâa differing perspective, not mere hostility. For your claim to hold, all my comments should unmistakably convey pure hatred, rather than simply presenting an alternative viewpoint based on my viewing experience. My aim is to conclude this back-and-forth, though I won't tolerate any bashing from others. It's interesting to note that everyone responding to my comment seems to assume I have a hidden agenda simply because my perspective differs. And let's not overlook your insightful commentary on my profile picture, which you randomly brought up. Apparently, my choice of a Dilraba icon supposedly reveals a grand conspiracy to undermine another drama and actress. Please, enlighten me on the moment I trashed one actress to boost another. Don't clarify that for me because I know what I said and didn't say. Go clarify it for yourself. You also communicated with me in a language other than English in that commentâgo back and review it. It doesn't matter if it wasn't explicitly hateful; it was delivered with a condescending tone. Have a good day and stay blessed like you've got a lifetime subscription.
I mean, youâre just wrong. Odd energy? Chemistry off? ML not a good actor? Some thing are debatable and subjective,…
Do you expect me to now be considerate? After your first comment to me? And since I'm not it's now an issue or do you need it to be an issue to dismiss your rudeness? When a comment is purely hateful then the intention is obvious. And lastly, I never forced anyone to accept my opinions, this seems to be your narrative here - kindly do not push it on me. Have a good day and I hope you keep this in mind once again: dismissing someone's perspective as having an ulterior motive simply because it differs from yours can limit healthy discussions and diversity of thought within the fanbase.
I mean, youâre just wrong. Odd energy? Chemistry off? ML not a good actor? Some thing are debatable and subjective,…
Let's not confuse bluntness with rudeness. I get that you were being straightforward, but there's a thin line between being blunt and being outright dismissive. And please spare me the "seasoned cdrama watcher" lecture. Your challenge for me to name other dramas only showcases your desperation to cling to a narrative that suits your narrow perspective. As for calling me an outlier with ulterior motives? If you can't handle differing opinions without resorting to baseless accusations, maybe you should reconsider making comments in the first place. Your annoyance doesn't negate my right to express my views. Fans get annoyed not because of some imaginary ulterior motive, but because they can't handle the slightest critique of their beloved shows (and this is a prime example right here). Just keep in mind that dismissing someone's perspective as having an ulterior motive simply because it differs from yours can limit healthy discussions and diversity of thought within the fanbase.
I mean, youâre just wrong. Odd energy? Chemistry off? ML not a good actor? Some thing are debatable and subjective,…
I've been watching cdramas for years. 'this opinion is ridiculous' 'Youâre just wrong ' lens was skewed' - It's disheartening to see that any differing opinions or perspectives are met with insinuations and ridicule. If I found the energy odd, the chemistry off, and the ML's acting poorly directed, then that's my prerogative. Just because you're emotionally invested in something doesn't mean everyone else has to be. Also, note that I never said he was a bad actor.I could explain why I made these points but it wouldn't matter as your comment is quite confrontational. With the majority of people proclaiming the chemistry as exceptional and that it's one of the best ever compared to other dramas, it naturally sets high expectations. But even without the hype, my assessment would probably remain unchanged. I started the drama with an open mind, and I only wanted to share my different viewpoint in a brief comment. Perhaps you should take your own advice and reconsider your own skewed perspective before belittling others for having different tastes and opinions.
we can take constructive criticism not destructive; ppl react when review as such is not helpful but personally/emotionally…
I'm really not trying to offend you here but saying it is 'realistic' is incredibly odd because this drama is far from being realistic. I can tell you thoroughly enjoyed it so that's great good dramas are like comfort to us. However, it is unfair to label or insinuate my comment as personally/emotionally motivated considering 90% of the comments here are like one-liners just gushing about the drama. This is not a review section it's a comment section. And why must my comment be labeled as criticism? because it does not agree with the majority view? I'm not going to make my points on why I felt their chemistry was mismatched here because I know for a fact it's going to be war (rather than people discussing stuff in a respectful manner or safely sharing their opinions) considering people loved this show for the chemistry and realizing this is my view of the show and what I observed. It does not make someone crazy to question certain aspects. If you would like to understand my points you're welcome to message me privately but I'm not having a battle in this comment section as seen previously by my original comment. It seems the ship for respectful arguments or counterarguments/sharing opinions has already sailed. Also, your comment here comes of as extremely biased which means you not going to try and understand my POV.
I am just happy that hidden love is getting hype and support from non-cdrama viewers instead...never seen a simple…
' I know your kind' ? yes I'm part of the human race thats allowed to think and form their own opinions, thank you very much. It wasn't an assumption on my part it was simply a point that I felt was strange and valid enough to bring up.Nevertheless there's nothing to understand here as you're quite aggressive about this topic(as reflected through your comments)so let us end it here. Thank you.
I am just happy that hidden love is getting hype and support from non-cdrama viewers instead...never seen a simple…
Again, you're still not understanding my point, you dragging other things into it now. I've already tried to explain. I do hope in the future when you address other people's comments you refrain from making assumptions.
I would also recommend my country the new age
