People are only whatching this for the secondary gays couple, but the movie franchise is very good! Since I love horror series, I'm antecipating it a lot.

I can't believe this will manage to be released :O
If I'm not mistaken, last year there were 2 bl movies released through an app in mainland China and now this will be released internationally eventhough censorship could still apply...
Maybe there's a light at the end of the road for real chinese BL?
OMG. Exactly what I'm debating with some people here. People insisting this is not BL because there is no outright…
My blood boils everytime I see people saying that bL need to be idealistic and happy to be BL, like??? Have you ever heard of Killing Stalking or Double Mints?
BL in Japan is a demographic, the work published under this demographic can have ANY kind of plots, it just have to feature a mlm between the main characthers.
If South Korea likes more twisted ambigous plots, it will translate into their BL and we can see that already on the BL comics that have been published recently.
Damn people are angry here! I didn't think this drama was all that bad, but I understand where people are coming…
This show is better than most BLs rated 8,7-8,8 here on MDL. People just went crazy picky with this one while giving high ratings for shows who glamourizes abuse or didn't even were able to finish shooting.
what is that even supposed to mean that its not some LGBT show? because isn't bl just gay shows aimed at woman
I'm talking about Japan cause they OWN the genre. No matter how popular thai BL became, who rules what is the BL genre is Japan. I didn't say that Japanese BL is more realistic, I just said it is a very vast genre. You can't limit it into a single box of idealized mlm relationships. That was true in the 70s-90s, but definitly it isn't nowadays. You can find from bestiality, to mprg, going throught hardship on workplace being gay and adopting on BL manga.
And I talked a lot about how the Thai industry see BL and it's not different from Japan. Any couple on ANY series or lakorn which depicts a mlm relationship, the company and the media will call them Y couple (thai name for BL couple), but they only call BL series when the series is focused on them and their love story. But this concept of BL being something cute ONLY HAPPENS IN THAILAND! And this only happens cause only the most idealistic thai BL novels have been adapted till this date. There are plenty of realistic, twisted, disturbed thai BL novels.
I hate Mame with all my heart, but the 1st half of Love By Chance showed a good depiction of homophobia and strugle to come out. Maybe cause New (the director) helped her with the script. It's not the case of TT, that's pure fujoshi fetichism revolving around gays being violent.

The Shipper isn't a BL, it is advertised as a teen series who might have a BL couple. GMMTV only produces 1-2 BLs per year, this year being 2gether and 1000 stars (this is taken from Aof's interview for a business site, he is a producer in GMMTV).
Other exemples from the same company: they don't count Kiss Me Again and Puppy Honey S01 BL, but they do count Puppy Honey2 as BL.
LOL have you ever seen a k drama before? Like, they are chaotic and dramatic. It's the typical k drama style.…
This is a 10 minute per episode show and had plenty of joyful moments, chill. Asking for banning a show just cause it's not lollipops and cotton candy is too much.
It is true that Korean society is not yet open to lgbtq. And many people say that Korean bl has a lot of BE and…
Yes! Most famous korean movies are VERY tragic and ambiguous. It's korean style of story telling. Obviously it will transalte into their lgbt and BL works.
People just want to be closed in a fantasy world were nothing happens, even thought the storyline will become not engaging.
To ask a ban for this series cause it has very silly dramas such as the ones of this week is just ridiculous.
is anyone feel like me? that South okrean are realy crule to gays? i think in some way people should not watch…
LOL have you ever seen a k drama before? Like, they are chaotic and dramatic. It's the typical k drama style. Just as japanese dramas tend to be more artistic and less about words, thai series (not lakorns) are colourful and playful and pinoy series are telenovela style.
Plus, this is the last week before the finale. ANY series will have at least some kind of drama before the finale, it's called climax.
If I'm not mistaken, last year there were 2 bl movies released through an app in mainland China and now this will be released internationally eventhough censorship could still apply...

We never know hahahahaha I've seen producers from other countries saying that
Sorry for misunderstanding LOL

It's not elements, it's literally the main plot.
