I submitted the "Bromance" tag after so many people on here agreed that this is a bromance. One of the mods proceeded…
TT glamourifies rape and it's directed to please female fetishists, WRU doesn't even have a plot and My Engineer is so poorly done that I can't even.
DBK is good, but people had the same complains about lack of intimacy while airing, people are just seeing it with a positive light now. The leads in 2gether did work, it just had 2 terrible episodes at the end. And why the hell are you reading a week old conversation and keeps coming back here? Hate isn't the opposite of love, if you keep coming back here...
If you want cute soft moments between asian dudes and seeing them making out, there are plenty of soft p*rns javs around there, most of them are better then your fav BLs. Don't use the only 3 BLs that focous on this to give a bad light on the most successful BL so far.

You can believe whatever you want, but you're wrong. Japanese, Pinoy and western media wouldn't be making articles about 2gether's impact, neither producers from Phillipines would be naming 2gether's success as the reason why they decided to make a BL series there.
She's marked by the government, she released a bromance web series recently without any advertisement and it still…
Oh, I didn't know she sold something she didn't deliver. I don't follow her closely, I was just reporting what i've read about some producers of lgbt content, when they become under the radar of the government, it becomes harder to make/sell stuff.
About the law: it exists, but it's not an especific anti lgbt law. It's a very vague "good-manners" law, which can or cannot be used to that. Usually live action lgbt content is banned from any service, but some cases make throught the censorship, like some kisses on blockbusters.

I've seen interviews of chinese movie makers saying that they may even make the movie and release through specifics ways, but they wont have funding and they can't show it outside the country. Once Adam Uni said that the law *can* still aply to her if she trys to release it internationally. Just like all the "good manner" chinese censorship law, it's not clear the situations she might get caught.
WeTV is on the poster, it will be release on WeTV Taiwan next month.
Well, we all know that some companies outside China profit from works not released there, such as History series and thai bl. They know that chinese audience will watch it illegaly, but I believe that a high profile drama wouldn't pay off releasing this way, since it cant be officially promoted in mainland china.
People here and everywhere are soooo afraid of the ending and I am confused why. Here is my reason why I think…
She's marked by the government, she released a bromance web series recently without any advertisement and it still got censored (reduced from 15 to 12 episodes). The censorship for lgbt content isnt very consistent since there isn't a specific law about it. Some indie movies have made the cut and were released.
This one in specific will be distributed by WeTV, which is owned by Tencent, a state owned conglomerate.
Reading all the poor reviews I was pleasantly surprised after watching this. The chemistry between the boys is…
This show was indeed great till episode 5. Then the lack of production value strated to scream. There are scenes where you only hear the wind on the microphones. It did had pontential, but it seemed they gave up the series half way throguht.
About the novel, I heard it is a whole friendzone situation and it has a sad ending. The mother separates them

there’s no “scale” between bromance and BL. Both are genres that overlap, but aren’t the same. This confusion that bromance is a implied Bl only begun when China started making censored BLs as bromances. A bromance don’t need to have any implied gay relationship on it, just see Goblin and To Each His Own.
So if you agree that 2gether isn’t censored, it was just poorly conducted, so help us deleting this tag. It’s misleading. From the reaction of the cast + diretor, it was just stupidity of the director being straight and didn’t realizing that there was something missing on that last few episodes.
And well, if you ever watched a straight thai lakorn you’ll see that romances like 2gether are the norm. When straight couples make out on screen on thai lakorn, the scenes are EXTREMELY fake, the actors don’t even touch each other properly, they just pretend. Shows like Together With Me, Why R U and others do have a following on line, but are not very easy to fund. We can’t expect Thailand to start making HBO like shows (maybe thai netflix originals? The Stranded was very explicit), but on TV they are very reserved.
Step by step kissing is becoming more acceptable in Thai TV, but let’s not forget that no BL has ever been broadcasted on a major channel, only smaller digital ones.
Plus: you’ve been very picky on the gayness of 2gether, EP10 was all about they rubbing their genitals, giving each other back hugs and slaps on the butt. It was just a softer way of showcasing it.
I don’t think that 2gether will set a standard on Thai bl, neither TT or TWM have set. It’s just another milestone in terms of popularity. So we’ll see more “modest” skinship like 2gether, as we’ll see more sexually appealing ones. Just like BL manga that at the beginning was the same “I’m not gay, but I like you” rapey troupe and now a days readers have a VAST variety of mangas to read (from the ones that almost dont have kisses to the ones that are p*rn without plot), that seems to be what will happen with Thai BL too. No need to believe that cause a show like 2gether was a smash hit everyone will become pudic hahahaha
About love sick didn’t making into other countries: it was another age, internet wasn’t as present on people’s life and the companies didn’t even know if it would pay off to sell them internationally. Since then Ossan’s Love has been a smash in Japan and the Philippines has slowly starting to showcase more and more mlm on their telenovelas (Soldier’s Heart is airing right now, it features a gay couple).
If we were to set 3 moments were Thai BL broke the barrier internationally, it would be Sotus, Love By Chance and 2gether. And we know that LBC isn’t exactly very pudic, yet it had its rights bought in Japan and South Korea.
So let’s just hope to see the industry growing, it is already too big for one show to set the tone to what will happen. COVID 19 may be a bigger threat to skinship than 2gether hahaha

PS: that ariana grande reference hahahaha

It's really good, but the ending was a little bit rushed.

It was a HUGE misscasting for this. Mork was supposed to be a regular thai boy, they casted a half european guy.
Like... will video calls be Phillipine's engeneering?
