On the manga, it shows them aging till they die. That's what I said about being bittersweet. But I'm glad they stoped at 40, if the make up wasn't good it could have been a disaster.

The manga has 5 chapters + one special, so I believe they will either not adapt the last chapter or they'll just make a fast editing showing what happens on the last one.
People became obsessed with hating this series without any reason. It's sad. There are worse shows rated higher.
Giving the series the criticism it deserves is different from haressing actors, being obsessed with lowing the ratings and forcing that only the 1st couple of episodes were good. That's what some people are doing.

Maybe after all the fuss and the trend to hate 2gether pass, it will increase. It was the same with TWM Next Chapter (I believe that right after airing, it reached 6,5 rating, after a few months it increased). And some shows start with universal acclaim, and tend to drop when people see how problematic they were (Addicted once had a higher rating than SOTUS).
