Both WL and LS have done a great job of portraying their character's emotions/affection towards each either. While subtle, you can really sense the connection they have with each other. You get to see a different side to SS when she's around LBY... no one can shut her up except him haha.

It honestly all wasn’t too bad and worth watching IMO. Yea there’s angst and I felt sorry for LBY but not in an overly done way. While mommy dearest is back, she has valid reasons this time for her concern and anger.

UGH my heart breaks for LBY🥲 . I wish LY would stop following her like a puppy dog so our leads can have a moment together lol. LY is sweet and all but he is just too much, and definitely not was SS needs. She stimulates him but he does nothing for her except cater to her every need.

This is the first episode where I actually agree with her mom and feel that she really does know SS and has her best interest at heart. Albeit she needs to change her approach a little lol, but glad she's refusing the marriage (feel like 3rd aunt sees his too).

Really enjoying the character development so far.. if only our leads would AT LEAST get more screen time together. I know they probably won't get together for a while.

Luoyang was alright! Watched it for WYB and it was good...can't say that it's as good as TLB/WRTW/LLTG though.

I actually liked him with the braids in TLB..,but think his face looks better in this (more mature haha). Omg that scene... wow. Like are you kidding me?! At least we get actual kiss scenes in this.

Oh that's a good idea to rewatch TLB haha. Forgot how much I loved Leo; he was great in that one and loved his character there.

I am extremely biased towards 'General Sexy and Serious aka Mr Swoop Ta Doop Rescue Ling Bu Yi'. The other two don't even stand a chance!

I wonder that about that too and hope not. It also seems like YangYang has a crush on Yuan Shen, who clearly is interested in Niaoniao... so maybe that will cause some tension too.

Agreed! I really liked WRTW but I think this one is even more intriguing to me. I was a bit worried with the first few episodes, but knew that it would set up the story. I just want to see her with LBY, agree that LY is just too nice and simple for her. Other than obeying and doting on her, I don't feel like he would be able to provide much for her character.

Both are SUCH great actors. Honestly one of the best in their generation. It's been great to see LuSi transform from her earlier, more playful characters (I fell in love with her from ROTAR). WuLei has always been superb.
