Painful wait.. the first few episodes this week were just so-so (in my opinion). And then of course it gets good as we hit 25-26.

His family is so useless lol. So much fighting amongst each other and pettiness. I wonder if they will bring back Feng Chang.

I am looking forward to it, but also not lol. I'm going to need some romance sprinkled in to ease the tension.

Finally had a chance to catch up on Sunday-today's episodes and while I understand it's probably setting up the plot, I'm getting a bit restless with all the politics. They're teasing us with the romance and while it seems her identity may be revealed in the next few episodes, we'll likely be left at a cliff hanger until next week. More than halfway through now and still a lot of plot to cover, really hope they don't rush the last few episodes.

They better not ruin her character and turn her evil over her love for LanXi.

LOL I did read somewhere about all that drama.. but I didn't realize the character was the maid. Guess she isn't some secret plot then haha.

Exactly. It's just the same old plotting tactics, which she KEEPS getting away with. My frustration with her/Emperor at this point is at it's max lol. If there is an additional plot around her (like did she kill the late queen...?), they need to reveal it now to keep her character relevant.

The Feng brothers are in YongZhou, the new princess shown is from YouZhou.

It's princess of Youzhou, another state. I think she's just coming into the picture so we don't know much about her.

If they don't deal with her soon I'm going to lose my patience. I'm hoping they remove her from the main plot soon and let the other antagonists take over. Clearly YWY, FengJu and HuangChao have big storylines ahead, so this petty plotting crap needs to end already.

Not a Cdrama but I dropped this one for Business Proposal which I loved. A few other good romance cdramas
- Who Rules The World (currently airing and I'm really enjoying this, although romance isn't the main focus)
- Romance of Tiger and Rose
- To Fly With You
- The Long Ballad (also more drama mixed in with romance)

I wonder if it's Huang Nian who has been 'loyal to him since he was young'.

I didn't finish haha, dropped it. I don't mind the romance (and love a sweet show) but it all just seemed to drag out for me. I had also watched Zuer's 'To Fly With You' and thought that one was cuter/sweeter. Maybe I'll pick it back up again if I don't have anything else to watch but a few others on my list came out so I moved on haha.

Liu Ruilin is pretty good actor, first time I've seen him play the antagonist role.

Really waiting for the romantic development in the next few episodes.

Right?! At this point I am convinced he knows but just isn't revealing it yet. There is no way they can make his character so intelligent but not realize that haha.
