Holy shit you've gotta be kidding me. Is this a sequel, prequel, alternate timeline or just set in the same universe?

I'm happy with any of them, and will be absolutely delighted if the original cast shows their face. If it's a new cast, I pray we don't see idol actors, though NiF has always managed to pick strong performances despite their looks, so I'm not very worried.

Plot twist: Every single one of our theories was correct. Big Mouse is actually everyone that the viewers have suspected (prosecutor, room leader, Jerry, prison guard, Miho, dad, the entire orphanage, PCH's secret twin + everyone else suspicious), and they were all just following orders from PCH's alter ego that he never knew about.

I think it's because it's an adaptation/based off of Investiture of the Gods. From my guess, the series itself probably violates many of the niche rules which chinese dramas much abide by to allow anything to air. Zhao Ge is not the only one stuck in limbo, for many movies and other dramas influenced by that same series also haven't aired yet.

Knowing China, they'll either let it rot and never see the light of day, or it'll drop out of nowhere within the next year without any announcement or trailer.

All Investure of the Gods adaptations, both movies and dramas, are stuck in limbo. If you combine the costs, its a shit ton of money, time and effort that we'll never get to see.

Hope that if it never release in China, it’ll at least release internationally somehow someday. Hard work and a lot of money has been poured into this project and projects like this one, and it would be unfair for the both the cast + crew and fans if it never sees the light of day.

I’m always up to explain to others about asexuality, so here it goes: it’s a large spectrum. I’m not sex repulsed, I just don’t enjoy it or have any desire to do it. My affection stems from other things, such as verbally, emotionally, acts of service, or other forms of physical contact. Kissing, hugging, cuddling and hand holding is very much an enjoyable form of intimacy personally. And I guess I could prove my asexuality if you so desired. I’m not sure how though. We could engage in a watch party and watch some of your favorite adult videos together?

As for your painting analogy, who is the sighted one? I’m not lacking anything from not feeling sexual desire. I’m a person that luckily has all their limbs and five senses intact. I go about life like any other person. Additionally, who’s to say that a blind person can’t appreciate a painting, that a deaf person can’t appreciate music? They can feel the paint strokes, they can hear the story behind the painting. Beethoven composed his ninth symphony while he was deaf. There’s much more to art than simply colors, much more to music than simply sounds.

I suggest you travel the world, go out of your way to meet new people different from you in real life and learn a new language. Often times doing these things will open your world view. I’m genuinely concerned for how you seem to accept same sexed relationships, but reject everything else the LGBTQ+ movement stands for. Small steps, I guess. What I hoped started off as banter ended as a heated argument which I find genuinely unfortunate. It sucks to antagonize people like this, since there’s much more to a person than politics and world views, but it’s clear that we’ll never see eye to eye, most likely due to generational gaps and personal experience. I get that they’re complaining about the lack of physical affection, which is the exact reason I’m getting so worked up. If the complaints were about anything else, story, music, hell even acting, then I would have nothing to say.

Not everything in a relationship is about kissing and making out and sex. Even then, we can see Shin try so many times, like the hormonal teenager he’s supposed to be, but Akira just won’t have it and ITS GOOD. They’re respecting each other’s boundaries and Akira is respecting the fact THAT HES STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL. Even if he just turned 18, people expect Akira to jump Shin at that exact moment or vice versa? That’s kind of predatory isn’t it? Same vibes as those internet fedora dwellers that wait for the exact moment child celebrities turn legal so they can comment on their body publicly on Twitter.

Genuinely, I just don’t understand the rush, and the fact that they complain it’s a slow burn romance when you can CLEARLY tell that’s what it’ll be from the synopsis alone. Akira has already shown he keeps feelings for a long time, so character wise what’s a couple more years for him, especially if that means his partner gets to mature first and develop as a human outside of him? And Shin has been pining since forever, so they’re gonna end up together in the end anyways.

People in the comments are on some real horny juice or something. Oh no, a realistic, non-rushed relationship that is still easily viewed as taboo in society, and said person that’ll take the blame if anything goes wrong not wanting to rush things?

Just wait for the time skip, it’s a 12 episode drama, you can wait 2-3 more weeks. (Or if the series makes you this angry, just stop watching. No one is pulling your eyelids apart to keep watching.)

Jokes aside, platonic friendship is just as good, but I hope the female lead actually has personality and isn’t just there for a forced romance. If there is any romance, I hope it happens naturally.
