I got bored after four ish episodes, but kept watching because the visual aspect of the show is pretty good compared to other cdramas. Though from the trailer, I'm pretty sure the story will pick up, even though it has the over-usage of my least favourite trope in dramas in general.
It's a decent watch. The trailers and teasers and basically all marketing for the series are a mess, but the series itself if your typical cliche romance with cold exterior male lead and warm female lead (with a twist). Yea, pretty average. I'd say give it 3 episodes before deciding whether you want to continue or drop.
Old school feel. Don't know if I like it or not yet. I like the current, modern costume design and camera work that the movie is lacking, but having realisitc, common faces is a delight to see again.
I was scared to start this, but damn is this a breath of fresh air after Leo's most recent projects. I feel his last couple of costume dramas were mostly let downs, but this is really good so far.
I mean... I understand the reasons, but isn't this a bit overdramatic since the whole premise of the show is a fantasy series? I feel bad for the work that's been put in. I would be 100% on board with the cancellation if it was meant to be some sort of historically accurate documentation, but I don't think that's what they were going for...
But then again, the writers should have been more aware, and maybe just change the names of the characters and they could have avoided this entire fiasco.
This is...a strange series. It's a low budget web series with 15 minute long episodes. The whole feel of it feels like some sort of group project instead of an actual drama. Though the acting genuinely isn't bad.
Basically ML somehow got husky DNA or something, FL finds out, they both have blackmail on eachother, both are forced to help eachother.
I thought China did the "no u" 360 tragedy that they love to do. 2 endings though guys, theres an extra episode that starts off disguised as a CP music video!

Yep. okay.

Ugh but the secondary CP met the novel fate.
