It's the similar thing with UWMA, but definitely less disappointing. Here - they ruined the whole show, and with…
I agree. One thing though is at least UWMA had plot and substance to keep us watching (sorry for my constant praise of it. I just really like the series even though Im aware of it’s flaws, it was just really good imo). 2gether almost had me drop it even though I really wished it could present more substance so I didn’t have to. Because If you cant tell, I really loved how cute it was at the beginning. I would be shocked though if it doesn’t drop below UWMA in ratings.
Underrated ngl. The story and acting here shines above so many BL series from all of the cast. I love 2gether and TharnType but I don't understand why UWMA is rated below them.
Don't have enough thoughts to write a full review. so ill do it in the comments:
It was cute. Rather lighthearted. Made me smile. Win is a great actor and Bright is decent. They got nice chemistry. Not amazing but you can still clearly see it. After episode 8 ish though script and scenes were lacking for them, so chemistry started drifting and not showing itself clearly.
Last 2 episodes were a bit underwhelming. I'm not someone who likes the extensive sex scenes in BL, but I agree with most they should have at least done a kiss for the last episode.
Wasn't bad, just disappointing. I don't get how this is rated higher than UWMA ngl.
I hope there's no romance in this season (hetero or homo). Straight girls ask for a romance between Wave and Pang…
I'm a BL fan myself but there is at least one comment on any episode of The Gifted that's just "BL PangWave". I ask myself how many people actually payed attention to the details and the amazing story season 1 was telling...
I know people want to see PangWave happen. I'm a BL fan myself but I REALLY HOPE THAT IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. This show was amazing for it's genre in season 1. It's genre IS NOT A BL and I really hope it doesn't turn into one. Thailand releases many amazing BL's every year but it's rare to see a show like The Gifted from the country, so just appreciate it as it is. If the directors do decide to make PangWave happen I wouldn't be against it, but I pray that it is not going to be the focus of the show.
He wanted to expand his acting portfolio by taking some risks. Hopefully, his next project will be better.
Oh that’s what you mean. My bad for misinterpreting— I mean Immortality might be able to pass censorships simply because of Arthur’s father, who knows.
To be honest, I'm now rather nervous about Feiyu being casted for Immortality, especially considering the comments…
His acting isn’t bad at all in my opinion, it could just be better. From what i see, his acting in Ever Night was better than this drama, simply because of his chemistry with the cast. Immortality shouldn’t be a problem if he has chemistry with the other male lead.
Great article! Though one thing I slightly disagree on is King's Avatar being overly dramatic with the clicks. Thought that at first too, but then I filmed myself (specifically keyboard, mouse and hands) while playing an MMORPG and damn I clicked more than expected, even when walking/running. Though it wasn't as much as King's Avatar, I saw myself mashing keys to dash forwards, double jump etc. As for mouse clicks though... yea they overdid that slightly.
First 15ish episodes: I like it, they were nice. Though acting was off, it was cheesy and plot moved relatively well
Episodes 16-35 ish: Super slow and boring. Acting did get better, and characters were starting to grow on me, but holy damn I skipped so much to save time and I did not miss anything.
Episode 36-44 ish: Plot picked back up. Nothing else to note, felt like the first 15ish episodes. Arthur Chen's acting did get better though in those episodes.
Last 4 episodes: SUPER FAST moving plot, but even though the rest of the series was a big "meh", I personally really loved the ending.
Don't know if I'll write a formal review, I just don't think it's worth it. The comments left on this page accurately state the good and bad of the series. (As to why Arthur chose this over Ever Night 2? I have no idea, but working with different people does help him get more of a feel of his job and industry, so can't blame him really. Just hope Immortality is good <3)
I see why people love it, but it's hard to keep watching for me. The female lead just makes everything so goddamn frustrating to watch, and I'm only on episode 2. Like girl just give him back his phone or report him to the police, stop making his life harder than it already is :/
The only place I can see Liu HaoRan, Xiao Zhan and ZhangRuoYun all at once. (I really want to see them all in the same drama, but they're all A rank main lead material so I doubt that any of them are willing to become side characters.)

Even though Wait In Beijing was defo not my thing to watch, glad he's back~
