Zhang Zhe Han and Yalkun Merxat... are they a pair? You see them in so many of the same dramas its not even coincidental lmao.

He deserves more roles and recognition. First saw him in Take My Brother Away (slice of life and family dramas are not my thing btw) but was immediately hooked, then realised he was in Fighter of Destiny (which made me love him more). He's improved so much since Fighter of Destiny, so when it was announced he was cast in HSaDS I was so happy (and he did not disappoint).

He's coming out with another (movies?) I'm pretty sure where he plays a serial killer.

More Wuxia and Xianxia for me to indulge in. This summer has truly become China's in terms of shows and even anime.

They are actors people.. no matter how good their chemistry is its impossible for each good pair to work together in every project.

Heyyyyy.... so it did pull a Novoland on us!
(We need good stuff to watch...... China, you're making us wait for so long, too long for something good to watch)

Early impressions:
Good story
Great characters and cast
CGI is hit or miss
but as always, like China, the green-screen stuff is pretty good
Romance just enough (for romance lovers and the opposite)
The secondary characters are done in a fair manner.
Music works
Camera angles are weird at times and stunning at others

I really like it, hopefully it will get subbed soon for all the non-mandarin people to enjoy.

Is it mixed with youth or meant for youth? I just watched the first five minutes and it looked great, but I'll…
(The youth in China basically only watch cartoons sadly enough). And mandarin takes so much time to learn, it's kinda frustrating (after my entire lifetime with the language, I still don't know how to write and barely read.)

It's really good and although some acting is cheesy at times, it fits the situation. The story has been well developed and it's very enticing and enjoyable to watch. Only downside so far is that the script does feel awkward sometimes (but once again, that could be due to my slight lack of mandarin), but you barely notice it. Watch it raw on maplestage : http://maplestage.com/show/%E5%A4%A7%E5%AE%8B%E5%B0%91%E5%B9%B4%E5%BF%97

Mixed with youth. Your main character is this Jack-of-all-trades type of guy, that uses his skills to survive (and free his brother). He then gets recruited in this group of young spies-to-be all with different skills. And so far, it's been quite bloody. Not as much as other dramas, but.. bloody and touching rather dark matters for what the show seems to be (there's already been like 5 betrayals layered on top of each other).

I finally remember who he kinda looks like; Darren Wang (especially when they pull the cocky half-smile thing)
