Yeah agreed. The guy barely appeared last season. Both the new and old actor's acting are fine. We literally have zero screentime for EACH of them. The only people complaining are people who were watching for XZ and nothing else lmao.

At least the issues being warzoned over here are valid. It's a lot of clashing of cultures, views and perspectives that although could be done with more respect, and should probably be done on a platform other than MDL, still have some logical sense in these arguments.

As compared to the rating bombs and head-hunting happening elsewhere xd

It's nice and fun. Has flaws, and a lot about it is very copy+paste generic xianxia, but the characters and their interactions are really good and what I'd say is carrying the show. That goes for the leads, and some of the recurring side characters. All of them are pretty lovable.

I just feel like when people are passionate about something, all rational thought vanishes for a bit. Some of my favourite shows that I'd rate a 10 are around 8.0 on here, and its understandable because my experience with show is not the same as everyone else's, and the rating just represents the average of all those viewer experiences. It's an obvious fact that people tend to forget when they hyperfixate.
