watching HL because I really liked The First Frost. Hope it doesn't disappoint. The age gap seems kinda creepy tho not goina lie.

did some digging online, the news about this drama comes from this article. https://www.sohu.com/a/584417569_121179521 it's from 2022-9-21 and in the article it said the drama will air in 2023. So I don't think this is real.

I love the fact that this drama does not redeem the mother at the end.

there's a couple of scenes that would never happen in a modern Chinese city like the three guys chasing the FL on the street or the beggar/flasher old man.

same. those couple of eps were really hard to watch.

there's a lot of garbage dramas coming out of China with Idol actors, bad script, low budget... However, they produce some gems as well. The way I approach it is I'll follow some directors and actors and select dramas that way. Of course ratings on MDL helps in selecting dramas to watch as well.

what is wrong with Douban? why does this drama only have a 5.4?

why would the public be against BJT and ZRN? They are both so good at acting (unlike the hordes of idol actors present nowadays)
