Title Youthful Glory
I started this on a total whim last night, thinking I should have a second drama to lessen the impatience of waiting…
I'm also waiting on TPoB and LoZH. So many good dramas. We are getting fed well this summer.

This drama is turning into a rom-com. I wasn't expecting that. I'm kind of missing the action and scheming.

I like the drama, but Zhang Jing Yi's dubbed voice caught me off guard. I wish they would use her own voice to dub.

it was scheming by WS's mother to make it look like XQ damaged WS's precious box. the misunderstanding was cleared up fast so don't worry.

The FL is not as innocent as you make her out to be. She is whip smart and her greatest strength is knowing how to manipulate people and interpersonal relationships to her will. She is acting like a teen with a crush because it is the most effective way to gain trust from Wei Shao.

To the Novel Readers out there,Since Historical and political genre is often met with tragedy,Does This one end…
you never know tho, I've watched 3 historical dramas with Song Zu Er as female lead. All are supposed to have HE based on the source material but in all 3 dramas the scriptwriters went full retarded and changed to SE.

in ep17 she explained it when the ML fell asleep in her arms. (around 17:30 mark) She's trying to get closer to him so he'll get closer to her. It's not like she suddenly transitioned to a lovesick wife but she is trying to turn up the heat to get him to like her more.

Title The Prisoner of Beauty Spoiler
Oh you mean period dramas? This is the 2nd time I'm watching her in period dramas. I've mostly watched her in…
Ya, I've watched her in 3 dramas up to now. The Demon Hunter's Romance, Novoland: Eagle Flag, and The Dark Lord. All 3 dramas are supposed to have happy endings based on the source material I believe. However the scriptwriters all made them into sad endings. I was so pissed.

Now that I think about it, none of the Song Zu Er dramas I've watched have happy endings. Even when the source material has happy ending, the scriptwriters went full retarded. I really hope this drama will break the curse.
