I love Sun Qian. First saw her in Meteor Garden ( she has a supporting role ). She has since acted in a few dramas.…
Oh! She was the girl that Daoming si’s domineering mother wanted him to be with. Later, she tried to help Sancai n Daoming Si get back together. Does this ring a bell?
I was shocked by the swiftness with which that snake Feng Lin turned on Ms. Xu, but thankfully that bitch called…
Ye Feng’s basketball team was disbanded cos winning matches doesn’t help in production of textile. To the organisation, his focus is wrong n he should be focusing on how to improve production for the good of people.
This is the first time I'm watching Sun Qian's drama.. she's so natural at her craft and conveys all the emotions…
I love Sun Qian. First saw her in Meteor Garden ( she has a supporting role ). She has since acted in a few dramas. Can really see her progress into a refined actress.
I also watch her reviewing this drama and was so pleasantly surprised that she likes the show n is able to relate…
I get you! Have you tuned in to Marcus Sim on YouTube? He’s pretty objective n he updates on cdramas that premiere n those that are going to premiere. I get nearly all my updates from him. Btw, he doesn’t criticise at all. All the best in your quest !

True, when she criticises, it’s really depressing alright. Mb you do what I normally do: stop watching when she’s harsh on issues or artistes 😅. Protect our sanity!

Yes, I’m indeed glad that Ms Xu turns out to be surprisingly adaptable after a bout of emotional distress, n we get to know that she was a role model in the factory during her earlier days
This drama is indeed underrated among intl cdrama fans, but then again, considering it's a slice of life period…
I’m an international drama fan. I really love this drama. This drama depicts life in China in the 70s n I’m glad to be able to witness how the people of that era lived. Of course, after having visited China quite a number of times, I can see that society has changed so much. I won’t hesitate to recommend this drama to my family n friends.
"Calling him a 'failure' or 'pushover' or a 'stupid' is a bit overstatement"Thank you. This is the most…
Totally agree with you. Fei Ting is not carved out to use a pen. He’s best at doing things with a knife or a ladle. To each his talents. So he’s definitely not a failure.
I really love love this series. Sun Qian and Arthur Chen really slay their roles. I first watched Sun Qian in Meteor Garden and I must say her acting has improved by leaps n bounds. She is a true blue actress now. Arthur’s acting is phenomenal. The setting of the drama in the 1970s gives us an idea how life is like in the 70s in China. Can’t wait for more episodes to come.
I have only watched 3 episodes of this and have put it on hold. I'm not sure about the dynamics and the over-the-top…
This thriving land is must watch. Though I seldom watch this type of genre, I find this series extremely interesting and informative. I’ve rewatched this drama.
Just finished this drama last night. It took me quite some time to pick up this drama and continue after stopping multiple times. This is not your typical drama of the day. It saps our energy and emotion-wise, we need breathers now and then before we can continue. This drama makes us wonder what’s wrong with some people in our society. The trauma a victim goes through after an assault is so real and often times, the victim just suffers in silence or risks being ridiculed when she seeks justice. The two main leads and the supporting cast really slay their roles. Thumbs up to them all and to production team as well.
This is one drama that’s so very satisfying. Can’t wait for episodes to come. The plot twists are logical to me. Just hope that FSG will recover soonest ( won’t spoil). Hoping for an express drop SOON. Li Qin is really slaying her role. I’ve watched almost all her dramas and I can really say she’s such an excellent and versatile actress, in both costume and modern era genres. Her own voice is beautiful; I wish she was not dubbed. Of course, the other cast members do not disappoint!
