I just can’t believe that Tian Xi Wei is a butcher, and she’s a good one. She’s good at welding her butcher knives, too. I just love the ml n fl. Zhang Linghe doesn’t disappoint. OMG! I couldn’t believe there are such hilarious moments in a serious setting.
Now I just have to be patient n wait for new episodes.

Haha. Same here. I do miss my nightly anticipation of new episodes.

Finished the entire 29 episodes!!! What a ride! Satisfying! Really a feel-good finish! Knowing the history of the ‘gao Kao’ ( it resumed in 1977) , I just knew Fei Ni will make it. The bonus is that Muyang gets in, too, cos he couldn’t bear to be apart from his wife.

Ye Feng’s basketball team was disbanded cos winning matches doesn’t help in production of textile. To the organisation, his focus is wrong n he should be focusing on how to improve production for the good of people.

I love Sun Qian. First saw her in Meteor Garden ( she has a supporting role ). She has since acted in a few dramas. Can really see her progress into a refined actress.

I’m an international drama fan. I really love this drama. This drama depicts life in China in the 70s n I’m glad to be able to witness how the people of that era lived. Of course, after having visited China quite a number of times, I can see that society has changed so much. I won’t hesitate to recommend this drama to my family n friends.

I love the fl. She’s pragmatic and doesn’t harm people. That doesn’t mean she’s being trampled.

Totally agree with you. Fei Ting is not carved out to use a pen. He’s best at doing things with a knife or a ladle. To each his talents. So he’s definitely not a failure.
