The main leads are officially a couple now. Zheng Bo n Jia Qi most likely will be the second couple. I’m wondering why so few people are watching this drama. But, recent episodes are showing the past of zhang Chi’s parents. I think this takes up too much of the screen time. I hope tonight’s episodes will put an end to it. Other wise, the story line is good.
Watched all 8 episodes in one sitting. This is my type of genre- medical drama. It’s good to see medical situations from the perspectives of the doctors, patients and their family members. I love Tong Da Wei’s acting. First time watching the female lead act and she really slays her role. I’ve always liked Zhang Yu Xi and the other actors also do their parts well.
Finally finished all the episodes. A good drama, though it could be a bit shorter. The acting from the cast is good. I like both the leads and their friends. The villains also acted their characters well.
Have been waiting for a good historical drama and this is it! Love love both the male and female leads. First noticed Zoey Meng in the Untamed, and Ling Yun Rui in Love like the Galaxy and The last Immortal. First time watching a drama starred by them. About time they are given lead roles. They really slay their characters. Good storyline and I like how the story develops from episode one. Very unusual start to a drama. Keeps us wanting more…
Such a good drama! It’s really an eye opener on how the pearl necklaces ( the natural pearls as opposed to cultured ones) we wear come from the hard and dangerous efforts of the pearl divers. Lusi and LYN really stayed their roles. I’m really looking forward to every episode. Wish we could have a few episodes a day instead of just one or two episodes.

You are missing a GREAT drama if you don’t watch it. I’ve watched it multiple times and each time, I discovered something new. One man’s meat is another man’s poison. How do you know it’s not your cup of tea if you don’t even give yourself a chance to watch the drama? We don’t have to dissect the story to enjoy it. At the end of the day, if you watch a few episodes and find that you don’t like it, you can drop it. My two cents’ worth. No offence meant.
So in love with this drama. Xu Kai and Seven Tan slay their roles. Never doubted these two’s acting abilities. The story line/plot is engaging and addictive. Kudos to all involved in the production of this beautiful drama.
