Absolutely loving this drama. The intrigue, the suspense, the fast paced plot! And all the actors/actresses nail their roles and characters. The main leads are fantastic. In this drama, we can see the versatility of these artistes. I’ve watched their previous dramas, and I can honestly say that they are excellent artistes true and true. Hopefully, the following episodes keep up the pace.
True, he was so happy having a meal with her. But like you said, he’s really busy chasing after communists. His job is very demanding. This era must have been very difficult for the people, everyone suspecting each other.
Just finished watching Play the Play stage performance of the cast in the drama. The producer and script writer were also present, as well as the host of the show. After listening to all their views about the drama, I have a better understanding of the drama: the lessons, the motivation, the inspiration and most of all, how life is to be lived among friends and family members especially when a crisis arises. I am amazed that the artistes are able to perform with the exact emotions portrayed in the drama. Great artistes indeed. The producer and the scriptwriter are so enthusiastic and are so happy with the performances of these artistes. Beyond their expectations! Those interested, this show can be found in YouTube, but unfortunately there’s no English subtitles. Hopefully, the subtitles will be available soon.
Haven't started yet; how goes it? I'm a PA fan (first cdrama ever) but not into the typical trope that is Xianxia;…
Hi, nice to meet you here 😀. I love PA and have rewatched the drama a few times. No hope of a second season, but I’m hoping this drama will have a closure for the same leads. Watched up to Ep6 and it’s good so far. Not the typical xianxia. You can give it a shot and see whether you like it or not.
Me too. I loved the show, especially the conversations. They feel so close and natural. Especially the one conversation…
Yes, I read about your ‘predicament’, I’m sorry that you have to suffer and go through all the angst when the drama is ongoing. I pray that you will be relieved of all suffering, anxiety, stress and pain. Your sharing is already a healing process and I hope it lessens your burden. I’m glad you have other things to divert your attention.
I was hoping for a wedding photo at the end of the scene like the Japanese version. Guess they want to be realistic…
Thanks, will be going to Taiwan next month and Batam, Indonesia in June. Thinking of China in December, but northern part and Beijing itself is so freezing cold. 🥶 Still deciding.

I have mostly visited the southern parts of China. Planning to go to the northern parts. I have not heard of the visa free policy ending soon. Hopefully not, but obtaining a visa to go to China was never a problem before this policy. All the best to you in your coming travels 😀
I saw a clip of them appear on a stage and them dancing and she couldn't hold it in and went off to cry and it…
I’ve watched a few of Lin Yi’s and Landy Li’s dramas. You can really see the great improvement in their acting ( they were good in earlier dramas as well) My first drama of Lin Yi is Put your head on my shoulder and Landy’s Go into my heart ( hope I got the titles correct). But this drama wins hands down. For the main actress/actor to act in their respective roles, and to be so immersed in them, I can imagine it’s pretty hard to get themselves out of these roles and be the real themselves, again. Kudos to all of the cast members!

I’m rewatching the first few episodes before LT was diagnosed with the disease. That helps me move on. Sometimes it’s good to be an ostrich burying its head in the sand.

Wow! That’s a great impetus for going to ChongQing. I’ve never been there, though I’ve been to quite a number of places in China. The country is so vast it will take a number of holidays just to visit the major cities and towns.

I believe we could take the photo of them in red attire ( traditional Chinese wedding attire) as their wedding photo. We can always imagine optimistically ✌️
I’m glad you have other things to divert your attention.
