Thanks, will be going to Taiwan next month and Batam, Indonesia in June. Thinking of China in December, but northern part and Beijing itself is so freezing cold. 🥶 Still deciding.

I have mostly visited the southern parts of China. Planning to go to the northern parts. I have not heard of the visa free policy ending soon. Hopefully not, but obtaining a visa to go to China was never a problem before this policy. All the best to you in your coming travels 😀

I’ve watched a few of Lin Yi’s and Landy Li’s dramas. You can really see the great improvement in their acting ( they were good in earlier dramas as well) My first drama of Lin Yi is Put your head on my shoulder and Landy’s Go into my heart ( hope I got the titles correct). But this drama wins hands down. For the main actress/actor to act in their respective roles, and to be so immersed in them, I can imagine it’s pretty hard to get themselves out of these roles and be the real themselves, again. Kudos to all of the cast members!

I’m rewatching the first few episodes before LT was diagnosed with the disease. That helps me move on. Sometimes it’s good to be an ostrich burying its head in the sand.

Wow! That’s a great impetus for going to ChongQing. I’ve never been there, though I’ve been to quite a number of places in China. The country is so vast it will take a number of holidays just to visit the major cities and towns.

I believe we could take the photo of them in red attire ( traditional Chinese wedding attire) as their wedding photo. We can always imagine optimistically ✌️

Yes, it’s a bittersweet ending. It’s good not to show the inevitable. But the ending shows the warmth people around us give unconditionally. Acceptance of this terminal sickness is not easy at all. This drama shows us the despair the victims are facing. With his acceptance, the victim has the courage to move on in life. Easier said than done.
This drama holds a special place in my heart. I’m rewatching the first few episodes up until the diagnosis of his illness, to help me move on.

No , He Xing Di really cares for LT as a friend. she is just annoying initially. She is the FL’s bestie and she gives emotional support when needed.
This drama, in my opinion, is a priceless gem. Give it a shot. But if it makes you too depressed, then you can have second thoughts.

Lin Yi’s acting skills has improved by leaps and bounds. I’ve never seen him acting in a drama that requires such a wide range of emotions. He slays his role. Landy Li is no exception. The cast has been chosen exceptionally well.
The plot may be heart wrenching, but this is one drama worth watching and worth the tears shed. Looking forward to the last few episodes. But I think after this drama, I need a break from melodramas like this one. I’m eyeing a new drama that I’ve been waiting for a long time.

You definitely don’t sound crazy. Human emotions are unique and these actors n actresses portraying these different types of emotions are really talented. They are truly immersed in these characters. I heard that some of these actors/actresses have to take quite a while to rid themselves of the roles they have played. Not easy to be good actors who can make us so emotional. Every stage of our life, we see situations differently. I’ve gone through several stages of life, and I can truly say that I have witnessed and have even gone through some of these emotional moments. Lots of lessons to be learned from all these.

I’m getting myself mentally prepared for the forthcoming episodes. I seldom watch dramas with this theme, but truly, this drama is so different and so addictive. First class acting.

Really good acting, right? What she says is truly down -to -earth reasoning. LT needs this confrontation badly. He is truly at a loss and desperate. Wanting her and yet pushing her away because he doesn’t want to spoil her future. Her reply is priceless.

Yes, I was initially annoyed with her, too. But once she knows the truth, she’s a changed person. Character development: how an event or situation can change a person.

After she found out. She was devastated, let the whole thing sink in, then she started the ball rolling and became the backbone for the support group of friends and family members.

The emotional scene between the fl n her dad really broke my heart totally. Understand the dad’s feelings n also understand the fl’s rationale. I’m glad the fl , though so upset, sets the tone for all to rally for him, to show him and us that the dignity of a human being even when disabled 😢, should not be diminished.
