haha tbh I can't technically get the dramas legally in my country (except through Netflix), I was using a VPN to access the US catalog, so technically if I didn't have that I wouldn't have been able to see the dramas I wanted!
Tho tbh illegal sites do tend to get their subs from other sources (DF, Viki, VIU, Kocowa etc) so I guess without the legal sites we wouldn't have the subs lmao
It truly sucks that DF closed down. So unexpectedly too. Even weirder that it feels like even the staff knew nothing, having advertised new dramas not too long ago and taking payments from customers literally just over a week ago.
I'm kind of disgusted at the way this was handled by AT&T, but I guess, not surprised. I'm guessing there will be some kind of new service they are wanting to venture into to challenge the likes of Netflix et al, but I'm not even sure when this will happen.
Luckily, I have Viki for now, and have considered Kocowa (but it's so much pricier!) It's just a shame it's becoming much harder to watch drama legally, despite them being so much more popular than they were in the past!
