Guys wasn’t there like a kiss scene in the preview of episode 9?? So I was wondering if I missed it or was it…
It was just a figment of his imagination, lmao They play it on screen when he's watching a movie If there's one thing I keep re-learning while watching kdramas, it's that previews are never to be trusted. They give us crumbs, and have us waiting like 🤡
I feel you. Noh Gojin’s life is so sad he was always the one that’s left alone, and now being betrayed by…
You're not alone ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ The peach incident really did it for me, that alone must have confirmed his worst fears, and those flashbacks scaring him into letting Shin Ah go. So sad to think he believes he is all alone. On the bright side, at least the diary gave him enough strength to be with Shin Ah even if he believes it's not for too long (So I'm guessing it's a blessing in disguise? since he let her go before that realization)
What was this episode!! OMG!! I thought I was ready to watch Go Jin be miserable but I wasn't expecting this episode to make me feel so sorry for him.... about time I guess? Ahhh my heart is so heavy.... how am I going to survive this week? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
This show truly has been a breath of fresh air! I was half expecting them to give us the -accidental fall-stare into each other's eyes- scene midway through the pillow fight, but they stayed true to the theme, as bizarre as it was and made it all the more memorable.
I love how this is going so farrrr grrrrr cant wait for tomorrow!!! i can't help but compare it to ABP since I'm…
Ever since Ep 6 of CL, I've been impatiently looking forward to CL more than ABP. I haven't even watched Ep 11 of ABP yet, been lurking here for the past hour, haha
what does he mean "she's the one that got hurt, but why am i the one that's hurting?" he meant that figuratively…
It hurts his heart that she's physically hurt but is worried for him more than she's worried for herself. I mean she doesn't even realize she's hurt!
Also this is the second time she's come to his rescue, she's a literal life saver. Edit: I just realized Shin Ah has never regretted saving his life, even after everything he put her through, she (half-jokingly) wished she were dead instead of putting up with him but never wished him any harm.
Not sure if the following points will help change some of y'all's perspective so here goes nothing -1. The subtitles…
Thank you so much! So glad to have been able to pay it forward! Like you, I don't have access to this drama on Disney+ either, found my home here since snowdrop dropped (lol) but only decided to make an account a few days ago because I couldn't help it, this drama drove me crazy, haha. Like someone else mentioned, Disney+ is surely kicking itself in the foot by not releasing it worldwide like Netflix does. The ones who are super eager to watch will have used other streaming sites, smh.
Also, I'm super curious, which other board are you talking about?
Edit: Found it on the kdrama subreddit, haven't been an active participant there in a while. Thanks though!

Totally agree! Love how you called it a throwback And dare I say, Kim Jae Wook absolutely delivered? We would have totally missed out on his word for word recital of everything Shin A desperately wished he remembered before and also the straight-faced dance performance later!?!? That was the highlight of Ep 8 for me 😂😂
2. While, I'm not a big fan of watching Shin A suffer, I do understand that Noh Go Jin wouldn't be so quick to forgive, especially knowing the fact that he never had amnesia, and also, he had to find a way to make Shin A stay. (Remember the previous episode when he stayed up all night waiting for her to come back home and now he knows she's tryna scoot?) Desperate times call for desperate measures indeed! He isn't one to beg her to stay so he had to find the most Noh Go Jin way to keep her close and he did. (There's a reason he has more enemies than friends, lol)
3. With the change in their power dynamic, we are not back to square one. Their relationship is entirely different this time around, it's more personal and it's just one episode of him trying to get back at her, and not in a way that's harmful. Annoying and petty? Most Definitely! But sinister? maybe not. Don't get me wrong, I'm not excusing his behavior, but it's consistent with his character. If we go by the preview for Ep 9, he seems to be making progress already, not only does he apologize, but also awkwardly requests Shin A to make time for him because he wants them to have dinner together. He seems way more polite! This gradual character development seems a lot more believable to me. (Ep 9, please don't make me eat my words, lol)
We're only about halfway through the show and I think now is when things will begin to change including the power dynamic, not amnesia induced but the real Noh Go Jin falling for Shin A and I, for one, can't wait to see him feel absolutely miserable at the thought of Shin A dying.
Also to give each other strength until 11th, it's gonna be a long wait

That being said, making Segi the bad guy seems way too obvious so I hope there's more to it than we know 😩😩

I found this on twitter, not sure if this is what you're referring to.

1. The subtitles before the kiss scene may not have been translated very well.
He says "I need your permission, but I won't wait for your answer because I'm desperate right now" with an almost helpless look in his eyes
not "I need your permission but I won't ask for it" in an arrogant way.
Yes, not a major difference buuuuuut our girl Shin A also signed up to be his pretend fiancé all by herself so she kiiiiiiiiinda must have seen this coming.
And as per Ep 9 preview, he apologizes for his actions.
