This was such an empowering episode! What I loved - 1. Women supporting women, this whole episode had such a drunk-women-in-the-bar-bathroom vibe. IYKYK 2. Junho not hesitating to share his concerns regarding her idea of fun dates.
But what I love most about the show is how WYW isn't perfectly righteous from the get-go. We watch her struggle with her internal moral code and find her own way forward. While she may initially rely on what others have to say or think, she eventually picks and chooses the kind of values she wishes to live by!
What I'm concerned about - Jung Myung Seok - The whole episode we watch him being anxious and on guard that the bitter laugh at the very end seemed like an epiphany. He realised that he was far too focused on an external threat that he failed to look inward.. I really hope it's only meant to serve as a wake up call π₯²
What I was really looking forward to - The BF meeting Papa Woo, but oh well, maybe next week haha
At this point, I'm convinced that Hanbada is definitely not getting its money's worth from Min Woo. The guy is far too busy plotting against WYW to get any real work done. π
I'm surpised that everyone hate Tae Soo for wanting to have an aboriton. What is so wrong about women deciding…
I don't think people hate Tae Soo Mi for wanting an abortion. I think they dislike the fact that she chose to abandon her child (for reasons unknown to us at the moment). Also, she was young and probably living with her family, so their opinion may have mattered more than Gwang Ho's begging so there's definitely more to the story and it's too early to jump into conclusions, imo.
After baby WYW was handed over to Gwang Ho, the shot of the black vehicle lingered a bit too long for it to not be purposeful in someway. Me thinks there's more to mom story
I guess it comes down to the way the production team wanted Young-woo to be portrayed, PEB's understanding of…
You raised some excellent points! I agree with your classmate as I have watched quite a few dramas with Oh Jung Se in them, especially IOTNBO and Uncle and from my observations, his characters' mannerisms do seem to overlap in these two shows. There is no doubt that he is a talented actor but it was a bit like Jim Parsons playing Sheldon Cooper, if that makes sense haha.
That being said, I loved the perspective that you brought here especially about the tone of the show and the kind of message it wants to convey and I wholeheartedly agree!
Is it just me or is the mom reveal a bit too early? Like some here, I believe/hope Tae Soo Mi isn't Young Woo's mom and that she might be Joon Ho's mom instead!
Geurami, girl I love you but I'm sorry but I don't see what you see in Attorney Kwon Min Woo π€·ββοΈ Man's a real jerk! Lee Joon Ho is the clear winner, could he BE more perfect?
I had no expectations going in, but the first episode was so so good. Had no idea I would enjoy it as much as I did. I love the dreamy cinematography and the BGM is so uplifting. I hope this continues to be as good, really looking forward to Ep 2.
I've also read the webtoon a bit, haven't completed the Babi and Yumi's story yet but so far he really does seem…
Ah, this was the spoiler I had read which is so disappointing π₯² I haven't gotten to this part in the webtoon yet. They've just begun dating for a while and she gets to know about his dad's restaurant or something, that's where I am at.
I don't want to talk to you, I'm blocking you for now

She really is the best β€

Also, Soo Yeon doing justice to her spring sunshine title π₯Ίβ€

Also need more WHOA WHOA after that preview because how are we supposed to be okay!?
