You're soooo right...Not enough is said about LSA. She's an angel!
Aww it's okay bestie 🤗 Doesn't matter what others think as long as you like it! I know I haven't shut up about my opinions here 😂, but I've long realized that you can't please everyone and what matters most is whether you're happy with it. There are plenty of shows that I LOVE that some of my best friends don't even care about, it used to bother me initially but then I began to keep them to myself and realized I enjoyed them a lot more by myself, lol. People don't always see/appreciate things the same way and that's okay.
Here's my thoughts on show, based on star rating. Crazy Love is only my 5th Kdrama (began watching them in February),…
This sums up my thoughts exactly and more! 100% agree!
Edit - Also, I've said this many times before but I'll say it again - other kdramas could REALLY learn a couple of things from this show, especially about healthy communication between the leads! Because of the number of times I've heard "헤어지자" (heeojija - let's break up) in kdramas, it's seared into my brain to the point that it may be the last phrase I'd ever forget, so I'll forever be grateful that this show finally taught me the phrase "연애합시다 " (yeon-aehabsida - let's date/love) among other things!
I'm currently watching 'Again my life' and 'Tomorrow' (it's really promising so far). I also plan to watch 'Snowdrop'…
I would highly recommend 'Snowdrop' if you're into political melodrama, it's a good show with pretty well executed twists and turns. There is a lot of backstabbing, lol and the episodes are quite long. You'll find the girl who play Oh Sehee in Snowdrop. Jung Hae In is absolutely and undeniably amazing in it! I'm so glad people have finally begun to recognize his potential. It can get boring if you're watching it for the romance but I genuinely enjoyed this one because I tend to like such shows. I felt terrible for all the backlash it received before it even began to air, surely undeserving of all the hate.
I forgot to add tracer to my list, I've watched about 5 episodes and those were good. I'm waiting for more episodes to be subbed so I can watch it all together.
Once again, MDL ratings/opinion do not see eye to eye because i ended up loving it. Sure its storyline is simple…
So glad to see you here, Bloomingtide! I know I'm late commenting on your post from a month ago but I found this as I was updating my watchlist while also recommending this show on CL page, aha and I've to say I wholeheartedly agree! I also fall in the category of the very few that absolutely loved this drama. The chemistry between the leads and the OST are just 🤌😍🥰
Kathryn it's been so much fun interacting with you here on a daily basis! ❣️Will miss your comments with little personal anecdotes thrown in here and there, always enjoyed those!Coming to show recs, there is a show that has a similar premise (FL has glioblastoma) to CL but with a fantasy and supernatural elements. The male lead is a bit of an ass as well, the show may not be as good as CL, with unnecessary drama here and there but the main leads have amazing chemistry, visuals and the OST is 😍. It suffered from bad ratings and air-time like CL did. It's called doom at your service, and it has one of the most satisfying endings with more than just HAE for one whole episode! It may not be everyone's cup of tea, people seemed to either love it or hate it, haha but do have a look at it. Not sure if it's available in the US, but you could try watching it from this source, it's legal - https://www.viki.com/tv/37776c-doom-at-your-service MDL page says it's available on amazon prime as well.
Edit - Looks like From now on, Showtime! is also on viki
I haven't been watching any other show apart from CL and AML at the moment, still need to catch up on 2 episodes…
Ngl, there are some frustrating moments in the show, but the live action mixed with animation is totally worth it🥺🥺🥺 I was hesitant before I started watching the show because I thought they may sound too whiny for my liking but they quickly grew on me. They're just too darn cute! You may even find some relatable, I sure did (Hunger Cell is my fav!😂). I could relate to Yumi at times as well. The show does a great job at portraying thoughts and emotions in a way that hasn't been done before (except for maybe inside out, the movie), so you're in for something new. Hope S2 lives up!
I haven't been watching any other show apart from CL and AML at the moment, still need to catch up on 2 episodes…
You're partly right but that's mostly because there's more to the story. I believe it will have 3 seasons in total. According to some article I read today it will air sometime in June. So you've got a little over a month to catch up! I look forward to seeing you in the comments section of Yumi's Cells 2 ;)
My like-minded Crazy Lover folks here! *cues Captain America’s voice* “Assemble!”What dramas are you watching/planning…
I haven't been watching any other show apart from CL and AML at the moment, still need to catch up on 2 episodes of AML. But I am really REALLY looking forward to Yumi's Cells 2 and The Sound of Magic! Anybody else here who liked Yumi's Cells? I've heard good things about Tomorrow and My Liberation Notes (really liked My Mister), so I may give these two a shot next!
I do agree it lost it's way at times, I found the whole villain revelation a bit underwhelming myself, so I just decided to focus on our couple instead, their progression from a crazy duo into this super adorable and healthy couple somewhat saved the show for me.
I kinda understand where you're coming from but after watching close to 100 kdramas, I've come to realize that very few have satisfying endings that tick all the boxes. Kdramas are notorious for ruining endings LMAO but this one at least saved the main leads from last minute conflicts and for that it gets a thumps up from me.
That being said, I would attribute his personality change to all the death threats he received which made him realize how people perceive him and how he's a victim of his own actions whether right or wrong.
I guess the message that the writers wanted to convey is that a little empathy goes a long way. That to both NGJ and his "victims/enemies"(whatever you like to call them), offering kindness and understanding doesn't hurt. In fact, it's what "saved" them all in the end.
As cliché as this scene was, I really loved the contrast between the office environment in the initial few episodes and in the final one. Watching NGJ walk towards his office with a smile on his face, greeting everyone on his way and watching others regard him with respect not out of fear but out of mutual love was a worthy conclusion on that front!
I must complain a little after watching ep 15. Don't get me wrong I still love CL but a few things irritated me.…
I agree with you. The whole villain revelation was a bit underwhelming for me as well. Hope there is a bit more to the story that will be revealed today!
I'm a bit apprehensive about posting this since mental health is a very sensitive issue and shouldn't be taken lightly, but I'd also like to add that Sehee's suicide felt a bit out of character to me. She seemed like a very kind, strong and righteous person especially considering she was also taking care of her father while her brother was MIA. She seemed very likeable too. Yes, her life wasn't easy but she didn't seem directionless either. So her death seemed a bit random, of course one could argue that you never know what she was going through, and that it was all to much for her and I agree. But she just didn't seem like the type to give up or maybe we just saw too little of her to know her.
Despite all this, I very much enjoyed Ep 15! There were many heart warming moments as you and others have mentioned!
I don't really like romcoms too much but there are some I would recommend:1. Hometown cha-cha-cha - I was very…
OMG you and I seem to have similar taste! Except for HPL which I've yet to finish, I'd definitely recommend the rest! Hometown Cha Cha Cha is my absolute fav followed by Mr. Queen! Flower of Evil was another show I loved to theorize on as it was airing, so much mystery!

They've all been in the victim mindset for too long, far longer than their "suffering".
