I kept hoping that Shin-ah would say something like "you forgave ME after all the terrible things I did to you!…
His name is Cho Jung Ho, as per the preview! and we'll get to see more of him next episode. I do agree about the villains, they dropped hints with Na Soo Yeon throughout but looks like that'll wrap up quick. Maybe they wanted us to focus on the wrong person, haha!
I believe there's more to the story about Sehee's death and what Segi believes. So far we've no idea why Secretary…
Kang Min also mentioned that he could be a secret heir of a conglomerate. Could it be that he's the "useless son" people referred to when BSY launched Baek Edu? Maybe he's an illegitimate son? and he's considered "useless"/unfit because of his history with gambling? Or something bigger is at play here. I don't think he's loyal to anyone but himself and is trying to gather insider secrets for his own benefit. Still unsure why he wants Go Jin out of the picture unless it's some kind of business rivalry? Didn't want to get his hands dirty, so he's orchestrated so much while being in the shadows.

W/r/t your mini crush - Aww you seem really upset! There there, you'll probably get to see him in more shows henceforth, hopefully one in which he isn't a bad guy!
How many Villains are there? Where did this girl in the white dress come from? I'm soooooo lost. I feel like I…
I've thought about this too and it is a possibility albeit a far fetched one! Seems like her story will be dealt with quickly if Ep 15 preview is anything to go by
I believe there's more to the story about Sehee's death and what Segi believes. So far we've no idea why Secretary Jo wants to ruin/kill Go Jin. And as per preview he worked elsewhere before called Master Edu or something (can't be bothered to check). What if he and Sehee have some sort of a connection? and Sehee died because of him and not Go Jin? Maybe he's the one who asked her to take those pictures? Then there's the anonymous letter that Kang Min mentioned, so what if Segi believes whatever is written in that letter (most likely blaming Go Jin)? Which would mean Secretary Jo orchestrated the whole thing and is far more dangerous than we realize.
If I'm not wrong, @bloomingtide had shared a theory similar to this by someone else from the comments section of YouTube.
You're not alone. I felt very torn this episode. I understand that people are unhappy with him for a reason, he…
All but that one person in PR who had the sense to at least take a picture. But true, he never "blamed" her for it and just like he believes people should pay for their mistakes, he is paying for his. It is a tough pill to swallow!
Yes.. NGJ is quite despicable.. however, it breaks my heart seeing him like this especially watching episode 15…
You're not alone. I felt very torn this episode. I understand that people are unhappy with him for a reason, he is insufferable at times but at the same time I don't think he deserves death threats and to have no one looking out for him. Which is funny because it's such a paradox, if he really did have people looking out for him, he wouldn't be so insufferable in the first place.
I can't help but draw parallels between Go Jin and Hong Banjang (From Hometown Cha Cha Cha) and how much people around you and love that you receive growing up matter. Hong Dusik had a similar past to Go Jin but he's had the whole of wholesome Gongjin by his side when it really mattered! But all Go Jin has NOW after YEARS is Shin A :(

Okay so if you're all caught up, I believe there are 4 villains now 1. Baek Soo Young - the persistant ex, now that she can't have him she wants to destroy him 2. Oh Segi - the Deputy CEO/pretend friend - because he believes his sister died because of Go Jin, wants revenge 3. Na Soo Yeon - probably an ex-instructor at Gotop - don't know her motivations yet but he probably belittled her a bit too much or she was the stalker who was obsessed with him 4. Secretary Jo - again, not sure of his motivation but to me he seems to be the most formidable of them all atm.
I'm still trying to gather my thoughts after everything that happened this episode but I'll leave just this bit…
Shin A instantly recognized Na Soo Yeon and called her 나수연 선생님 (Na Soo Yeon Seonsaengnim) Seongsaengnim means teacher/instructor. So a) It's someone Shin A knows and has probably worked with somewhat recently (she's been working at Gotop for only a year, but then if you include the time she spent training before maybe a year or two more?) b) Na Soo Yeon was an instructor (most likely at Gotop, this is just a guess)
I'm still trying to gather my thoughts after everything that happened this episode but I'll leave just this bit of info below about Na Soo Yeon incase anyone's interested because the translations may not have been super accurate
Okay so finally I watched 12 episodes in a little over 2 days and I think that first idk why people keep comparing…
Both dramas began to air a week apart from each other on Mondays and Tuesdays. BP had a head start by a week plus had the competitive advantage of being on Netflix which already has a pretty established audience and promotions for its shows. Meanwhile that wasn't the case with CL being on Disney+ which is fairly new and not accessible in many countries.
The comparisons began early on during the first couple of episodes (lot of similarities overlapped, like narcissistic MLs, fake dating, etc) during which BP had a upper hand because it laid a fun foundation on which to build the story (which went sideways by the end but that's another story) but CL had a rather slow and bleak start (especially with the FL discovering she's about to die), with many giving up on it completely within the first 4 episodes for the reason that they already have similar kdrama tropes and cliches, so they don't need to watch two shows of similar nature especially when one seems more fun than the other.
The majority that watched both the dramas together seemed to appreciate CL over BP, the anticipation for the next episode and priority given to each show changed after CL Ep 5/6 which is when the drama really pulls you in.
The comparisons have since reduced because like you said, they are two different kinds of shows with different kinds of vibes and people only tend to realize this IF they give CL a chance which many began to do, like you, after completing BP.
As far as the OSTs are concerned, I'm the opposite of you. I found the OST in CL much to my liking, especially GOT7 Jay B's Dive Into You. It has such simple but heartfelt lyrics and his voice brings those emotions alive <3 I also enjoy Maybe by Davii when I'm in the mood for something up beat. Both of these songs give us an honest glimpse into Go Jin's feelings. This goes to show that music taste really is subjective so feel free to disagree, haha
All that said, I'm TRULY GLAD you gave this drama a chance and have really enjoyed it thus far! Also totally agree with you that one shouldn't come here with prejudice against either of the shows. Some of us in this comment section have been invested in the drama for a lot longer by weeks so we do feel quite passionately towards it, haha so excuse my long ass post here. I genuinely hope this clarifies some of your questions and that you continue to enjoy the rest of the show!
Also a fun fact in case you guys didn't notice this in Ep 4. (haven't seen this mentioned anywhere)⬇️
The final line he wrote in her book - "Please stay by my side for a long time. I love you",
is also the final line in the OST "Your Tender Heart Hurts Me" by Davichi So I'm guessing this entire song is her confession, the lyrics she wrote for him🥺
and we'll get to see more of him next episode.

Also, Secretary Jo now suddenly seems like the most formidable of all the villains

Maybe it was all handled in secret, so it's possible that she wasn't aware.
