I think I started watching this after barely reading the summary and was surprised about how young the BOY was, some scenes really made my stomach churn. I love Jdramas but they gotta stop doing this kind of plot, I draw a line here, I will pay more attention to the summary and tags, I can't find it romantic at all and there are so many of these dramas and movies it's actually very weird.

I was told that JCY's mom is not his biological mom. He told Lu Yan that his mom only cared for her new husband's son and she didn't recognize him. I think they're about the same age. WP's mom left when he was about 8 or 10 and married JCY's dad who had raising him as a single father.

I really think the writer wanted to explore the plot but didn't manage to deal with it properly

Making Wen Peng the biological son of Jiang Cheng Yi's mother was completely unnecessary, especially if at the end his revenge was against JCY because of Lu Yan and not his mother.

It's like a summer read, it won't change your life but it will keep you entertained. I really liked their domestic moments, the transition to living together felt very well handled, very smooth.

Is this a comedy? From the WeTV posts it seems to be.

I thought I recognised the summary, it sounded too similar to something I already watched but couldn't remember what. I checked the cast and Austin Lin and Nikki Hsieh were in I WeirdDo with Austin playing an OCD patient. It does sound too alike to me. Maybe I'll give it a tey some other time.

For a better understanding of the end of the movie you previously need to watch The Lake House with Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves and know that Leslie Cheung was and actor and singer who unfortunately passed away in 2003.

I can't say I'm surprised that she would divorce and leave her son since I've watched a lot of Asian dramas where that happened, I don't think it was necessary to add to the plot though. I won't drop it though since it's just a few more episodes til the end.

I really liked season one and I like the cases on season two so far (I'm on ep. 20) but now it's more evident how much of a stretch is to have a portraitist with such a big role in a police investigation. I know the captain is accepting new ways to solve crimes but, someone gets murdered and you fisrt call a portraitist to the crime scene?
