If you liked this and enjoy dramas from around this era, you will love The Rebel. Keep in mind that Wang Zhi Wen plays another character :|
Both are stunning dramas.

Title Meet Me after School Spoiler
Shouldn't be named "I made the wrong decision"?
I started watching this because it was on netflix, it was short and I innocently thought the kid was 17 going on 18.
I don't know if it was a mistake on the subtitles (netflix are not the best at it unfortunately) but I didn't instantly knew the kid was 15 at the beginning, when they mentioned graduation I thought they were going to university so maybe the lovebirds didn't need to wait long to live their love without restrictions.
15 is way too young, the teacher should've known better, she should've stayed away. The kid wasn't a saint either, he started to act like a stalker.
Maybe she was flattered, maybe she wasn't ready to get married and follow her fiance, I don't know, she acted like a fool most of the time.
I've seen other works by the actress and she is good, I don't why she always looked clueless and dumb, was it the director's fault to make her look dumb?
We also have her friend, who at first warned her but then, knowing she was fired because of her inapropriate relationship with a student, she hired her to work with CHILDREN!
And then we have Shotaro's boss/lover/whatever, cheering for her, aiding her to run away with a child. I know she's supposed to be a free spirited person but apparently everyone was ignoring laws in this drama.
I kind of understood at the beginning the kid's attitude because his frontal lobe isn't fully matured so his actions are expected to be immature but when he meets an adult just as immature as him, they made this drama unwatchable.
The only reason I continued to torture myself all the way to the end was because a friend told me not to rate a drama or movie without watching it 100%.
Anyway, I also hated they made that his mother at the end almost felt guilty his son was ruining the teacher's life, I mean, she wanted her in jail but at the same time wanted her son to stay away from her so he doesn't make her life worse. It was all foolish to say the least.
I know this is ridiculously long but really, reading so many colments talking about romance and how people keeps rewatching it, it just baffles me.
They are better stories of forbidden romance with better writing and better acting.
This is just not it.

Why are people NOT using the spoiler option to post about the ending? People who are not paying the VIP fee are not there yet

Sorry, I'm only at ep 3 and I can already tell you that this has got a whole lot of unnecessary violence and crude…
I don't want to spoil but, at the end there's real justification for the victims like in the glory

I don't know why when an Asian drama, series or movie has a 18+ certification, some people are quick to say some scenes are unnecessary.
Western works like GOT or Westworld never dropped their rating due to some harsh scenes and they have plenty of those.
Dramas and movies reflect the real world which doesn't always has a certification for all audiences.
I find it really unfair when a low rating is given because of some scenes that some people might find unnecessary when they didn't even finish watching the whole thing!
If you are a person who can't stand people suffer, DON'T WATCH THIS.
If you don't believe me, learn to read the tags! They're there for a reason.
I liked the drama because it gives a voice to those people who become invisible to some but they deserve to be treated with respect and compassion just like everyone else.
They're dramas of all kinds, maybe this one doesn't suit you, I'm sure they are other that might.

Title The Double
Was it good ? I’m looking for sth new to watch with manly guys as IAM so tired of watching all these young guys…
I really liked it. Personally, I didn't feel it dragged on or added unnecessary things. At the beginning there are some funny scenes, all the supporting cast was brilliant imo. It was a classic story but it was enjoyable. Of course, it all depends on personal taste, BUT, no infantil voices if that's a plus for you 😊

Title The Tale of Rose Spoiler
It's possible Rosie is taking care of her parents as they are aging.. A lot do that
Even her daughter said that her grandparents' house was too small for her things, Huang Yimei could've bought a bigger house for all four of them to be comfortable. I think that part, them not moving out was the most unrealistic for me.

Title The Tale of Rose Spoiler
I just finished it and I gotta say I liked it. Although, I must say I can only see character development on Su, everyone else is just the same from beginning to end, even Rosie. I know she's supposed to be a free spirit, beautiful girl/woman who can make anyone fall in love with her but she just acted and reacted the same way since she was younger so everyone around her, including her ex-boyfriend and ex-husband, didn't seem to change either. She didn't even moved out of her parents' house even though she is making a lot of money! Anyway, it kept me entertained while it lasted. One last thing, I would've enjoyed it more if I hadn't read the summary with the whole story in it!!! Please someone fix that.

On Strangers When We Meet Jun 29, 2024
I've seen a 7 minutes clip with pretty much the whole story and it doesn't seem to be an easy watch. Although the female character is supposed to be 24 y.o. (and the actress is over 30) she looks younger while the actor is 62 which can make some people uncomfortable. She is clearly in a situation where she will get any chance to get even a little improvement on her life when this old man who wants to have a child appears in her life and makes the proposal about a marriage and better life for her as long as they have a baby. While she agrees I don't think it was ever in her plans to actually sleep with the man, problems ensue and her life instead of getting better it gets worse. Like I said, it's not easy to watch, the girl's life is filled with bad decisions and their consequences.
