How are they horrible? Could you explain? They’re just disappointed that such talented people gave up on their…
Daji slapping Ze? Shui violent outburst smashing a bottle on the table?
They have zero understanding and empahy towards their friends who are tired of struggling.
Beijing can be super tough and it's not rare for some to try to make it somewhere else.
It seemed like ML and FL were thinking more about losing a cinematographer and a scriptwriter more than losing friends.
They should have shown more empathy towards them.

Ep15, ML and FL are being so horrible to their friends. Is it all about making ML's dreams come true? Are everyone else just an accessory? It kind of explains 2025 though

I'm on ep.9: Money DOES buy happiness! Or at least it helps a lot.
With money neither Daji nor Shui would be suffering on jobs that make them unhappy. Jingshu's life also would be so much better if she could pay uni's fee.
And these kids are so naive giving away money for enterprises that are so obviously shady!
But they are Young and I guess they're doing the best they can.

I'm confused too, the transition of the trailer looked very similar.
Almost identical!

I finished watching this and I really liked this one. But, unfortunately I found QiQi completely off with the rest of the cast. Even the other classmate who was in love with XiChi could've been better if she had more scenes. I don't know how it is in the novel but I think we didn't get to see more of Song Cong's uni years because of her, I wanted to know about him but if not seeing him meant not seeing her either, I was ok with that.
Even during their school years her attitude was very selfish and off putting and they showed very little of her fanily life too so I couldn't really bond with her.
Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Just for my own peace of mind . . .
II'm going to force myself to believe in the theory that they eloped to the countryside or something. My understanding of the ending, it broke me 😭

Takiko and Katsumata 🤍
This was good and the acting was superb but I found it difficult to set my mind in those years watching all those women to endure living like a doormat. Other than that, I liked how the stories were given closure except Makiko's.
