Title Reset
14 is used to show how she didn't go crazy out of the blue - it took 6 months of self-torment and then discovering…
I would like to add that everyone has a different fight/flight response to emergencies. MM was a sheltered child from the way she was presented. Shy, not easy to make friends, quite attached to her parents, even her way of dressing, etc. The first thing she did after she was attacked was to look for her father because she knows her mum doesn't carry her phone to class. When that didn't connect, her next response was to get out of the situation as no one around her was keen to help and there was a legit fear that she might get attacked again as she was still in close proximity to her attacker. Anxiety, panic and fear at what had happened all combined together to make her want to get off the bus, to remove herself from the situation while she tried to get in touch with her dad. Her response to the situation was flight, to get out asap.

There is fault of the driver too because, yes he was frustrated and wanted her off the bus before she did a major accident but he could have switched lanes, gone to the one closest to the railing, turned on hazard lights as MM de-boarded. Both times Li Shiqing asked to get off, Wang XingDe always switched lanes/went to the hard shoulder and made sure there was no traffic on her side when she got off. I don't think MM was expecting traffic on the other side either. She really just wanted to get off and get away from that person. What happened next was imply a series of unfortunate events :/

Also, I think the makers wanted to make the motives of the parents clear so that it makes it easier to explain the story, flesh it out and help pass censorship because while they did paint them in a sympathetic light, they also highlighted the fact that what they where doing was wrong and they were plenty aware of it and yet still went forward with their plan. Idk, I might be digressing here tho :)

I did some research and I think you're talking about this one? https://thediplomat.com/2020/04/billion-dollar-divorce-drama-around-south-koreas-sk-group-continues/
Ohh, yeah, it does look like the one mentioned in the synopsis. The fact that the case is still ongoing, I wonder how they'll end it in the drama. But nice plot twist that the wife now want's to reconcile lol
Also, thank you so much for the reply ^^

This is one of the most sensible comments I have seen here. It seems many foreigners are commenting on this looking…
Again, having and not having kids is a very grey area. A lot of countries have laws against abortion, so the choice of not having a kid is taken away anyways. If you're not taking proper measures and a child is born owing to that in a place that outlaws abortion, will child support still be called ransom?

A lot of times it is extreme cases unwittingly be it due to the law and order situation or other problems. Men can refuse to recognize and support a child that a woman might have been forced to bear. That's the whole problem of it.

Have you read the entire post that she wrote? And she wasn't feeling bitter about the choice that she made but…
Yeah, saw that a couple of days ago. Good for him to reply. Like I said before, my comment on the situation was only based on what I had read online. At that point, only the GF's side was clear and only apologies where made. Here's hoping someone updates under the article on the recent developments.

Thank you so much. Yes, exactly. It is so hard for a woman to have a child sans father in asian countries in general that the term choice becomes irrelevant. It's sad and while the situation does seems to be getting a little bit better, I guess internal bias and misogyny will still exist until a complete overhaul of the system isn't done :/

But it kinda was. He told her that he was contractually obligated to pay 900+mil won or something cauz he was in a relationship and having a kid, money that they both didn't have at that time. (He did not have the fine, as she later found out) Plus his career would've been over from how he painted the picture. Promising her that they would get married later, try again and have kids again, while isn't a crime, but misleading her on when he really had no intention was wrong. Also in a society where single mother's are looked down on, their kids scorned and the guy not even lending her support how in the world was she supposed to drag him to court? With what money? Legal fees is expensive and it would've taken time to get this done in court. Also, she said she was sorry for all the backlash he faced for she once loved him but she wasn't sorry for letting the truth out the in the open. It wasn't her trying to run away from her words but defusing the situation cauz her real identity was revealed and she was constantly receiving death threats from fans. Now that she has legal help, the misunderstanding statement was deleted and her team is applying for legal action against everyone

As soon as he gets famous? The past rears it's ugly head. I don't understand why women feel so bitter to choices…
Have you read the entire post that she wrote? And she wasn't feeling bitter about the choice that she made but rather the choice she was forced to make. And she never named him. Once people started speculating it was KSH, his studio immediately came out to issue an apology. No denial, just an apology. You can read her entire post as it's been translated on Insta and Twitter to see this is beyond a woman scorned.

Yeah, I couldn't find it either :/
I think she might've taken it down since MangoTV subbed it on their YT channel recent. Maybe look around on Dailymotion/YT if someone's posted it there?

Okay, so from what I've read regarding the statements from both the sides, here's the gist of what allegedly went down:
KSH's gf A wrote down in a post that when they where in a relationship, she got pregnant. At that time, he was just starting out in his career and and told her that he can't have kids at that point. He also said that he would have to pay a 900+mil won fine (can't remember the exact number) to his agency/other's for breach of contract since celebs sometimes have clauses in their contracts forbidding them from being in a relationship altogether, much less have a child. He apparently put pressure on her all the while assuring her that he would later introduce her to his parents, that they can have kids later, etc. She also said that her body's condition was not good and it was anyways difficult for her to have kids in the first place. But she agreed cauz KSH said he couldn't afford the fees and it would be a major hit to his career. Fast forward to later, he started ignoring her calls, distanced himself from her saying that he had allegedly been caught by Dispatch so they had to lay low for a while. He used this excuse to make her delete their pics and msgs so that the traces of what went down could be removed. Then he broke up with her through a text/phone call a while later. She later also found out that it'll be very difficult for her to have kids. There where also other details as to how they had sexual relations after she became pregnant and it was absolutely disgusting to read, so please look for it online. Typing it out makes my skin crawl.

At the end of the day, she saw how he was promoting himself as a kind and caring person and the resentment boiled over. She never mentioned him by name but once people started speculating if it was indeed KSH, his agency immediately came out to apologize and went into damage control mode. She said she has proof for the entire thing and will share if the other side denies it. KSH never denied anything.

Since this blew up, her identity has been revealed and she has been receiving death threats and hate mail. She has lawyered up now and accepted the apology. KSH never denied the statement and simply apologized for the whole thing. She say's it's a regretful thing to see a loved one so hated on because of her but what she had suffered finally reached the end of the rope and the resentment bubbled over in the form of the post. Also the 900+ mil won fine? That turned out to be a lie. His contract had expired, so no fine would've been levied had he had a child then.

My 2 cents on this: KSH never denied anything, so if it's really is as she says then it's really so sad. In a society that openly disparages and rejects single mothers, it would've been so much pressure on her to give up her child even when she wanted it simply because the person she loved would've been affected by it. She would've lost support of her family, the guy, his family and him being a celeb, she would've been hated by his fans too like she is now. Keeping in mind that this is very much a patriarchal society that doesn't accept single mothers but outlaws abortion at the same time, the things that this poor woman went through was just so wrong.

If you want, look it up on google, her entire original statement and post have been fully translated on Insta and Twitter. KSH never did and still doesn't deny her statement, only coming out to apologize and then vanishing.

This all happened the day after Hometown CCC's finale aired and hence the immediate canceling of all subsequent promotions.

Title Praomook
Are they? I think the cast members are p disapponted too, I think Channel 3 might release it since people are…
Ahh, honestly, I'm a bit miffed with Paromook and have sort of taken temp hiatus from lakorns. I couldn't get past ep3 for Jark Sadtroo Soo Hua Jai. I will probs watch Keun Rak Salab Chata in the near future, but work's been hectic lately and YAMG is just too addicting :)) If you haven't watched it already, PLEASE DO!! Omg did they follow the novel. I think this is probably the best adaptation of a novel for screen. I can follow it chapter and not miss even the smallest of things *epppppp* I guess I'm too far gone for now. Another one that I've been following amongst many, Turkish drama Ask Mantik Intikam (Cunning Single Lady official remake) is finally picking up the pace and we boarding the angst train and I couldn't be happier hehehe. You should definitely watch it if you've seen the orig. They actually improved quite a lot and I'm actually enjoying this :D

Title Praomook
Are they? I think the cast members are p disapponted too, I think Channel 3 might release it since people are…
True, but in all of the recent dramas that they had with others, it just didn't feel the same. Maybe I am biased or maybe the scripts aren't all that. But Xing Zhao Lin does work best with Liang Jie imo. Praomook is still in top 5 airing on the Ch3 app, it went on top on iQiyi as well when it premiered a few days ago. Even Viu had it on top banner when it was airing. So much and still this. Half the drama they cut and the other half I fast forwarded cauz it just wasn't relevant. I don't need to see Nuch sexing it up with anyone. Once way enough but twice was simply preposterous. I'm just happy they their dramas are edgy and contain a touch of reality. Which is one of the reasons why I was so happy when GMM announced that it was heading the BOF remake. I saw the mess that was Secret Garden and even Princess Hours. Don't want a repeat of that. Ever. I guess since Mike is no longer active in Thailand, it becomes a moot point in itself. But I was curious as to why he left a flourishing career in Thailand to go to China. He was considered a superstar, no? *fingers crossed* They don't mess up Boss and Me. I need a GOOD drama. I'm not expecting anything great, but even good would do at this point :/ YAMG is bae. Apparently, and I skimmed through comments here, there are scenes that made people wonder how they went past the censorship in the first place and this really made me wonder exactly what in the world did they do. I'm honestly this close to watching it all without subs but I'm somehow controlling myself and patiently waiting for Monday. It's good pacing and what I liked the most is that they're both shown as a couple but individuals as well. Yes they're in love/have attraction but that doesn't mean they would go after each other single mindedly. Life goes on for both of them and they're each their own person before they're a pair. It's still quite realistic considering that it's a modern Chinese drama and their problems really resonate with people. When is Monday gonna come >.<

Title Praomook
Are they? I think the cast members are p disapponted too, I think Channel 3 might release it since people are…
Ugh, true. But so far Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin have been paired for 4 times, counting the recent The Eternal Love installment, and there is hope for the future. It is so rare in the Cdrama industry from what I have seen that I have a sliver of hope that they might just do it again for Pon x Bua. From a financial pov, these two are already a packaged deal and they've proven that they work with other's too so hopefully when they see all the money Praomook pulled in, is still pulling in, they might just pair them again in the near future. Might have to wait another 3 years for it but it's so worth ^^
Yeah, those 4 need to be paired with others. I saw Bella and Nadech trending in pairs peeps want to see the other day along with Baifern and Mark, so might happen, might not idk but I wanna. I wouldn't say no to another Mookda x Micheal drama tho hehe... Omg yes, GMM please don't mess it up! They have the latest adaptation of BOF cued up too which *squeals* I'm SO gonna watch. I mean, from the teaser itself, this Gu Jun Pyo seems like an actual human being which says alot. But still, they could pull another Praomook on us so I'm cautious but I've seen previous GMM drama's and atleast they do have quality scripts to I'll cautiously believe in them. Full House and Kiss Me where just amazing as remakes and I'm eagerly waiting for this one ^^
YAMG is sooooo good. Not just Gu Man, but Yang Yang has improved by leaps and bound. That man smirks like it's anyone's business and I can see why QJJ fell for him in the first place lol. Yeah, that hurts too but I'd rather this to a bloated storyline. We can expect a LOT of sugar in the upcoming episodes and I'm all for it. It's already amazing that they're sticking to the orig book so closely that I'm happy with the meager offerings that they're giving us hehe

Mess with the Male Lead? The Male Lead had a drama airing in 2020 "wolf" in 3 web platforms, and in February he…
Honestly, no idea. Some did say it was because Hunan wanted to promote it's own artist but that doesn't make sense since they must've bought the copyright of this drama for something other than spite. There was an incident there Hunan and CCTV exchanged dramas and rumor was that one of it was TOoL but apparently it wasn't. Nothing is certain about what really went on behind the scene really. It's all rumors at this point >.<

Review My Forever Sunshine Spoiler
Can you let me know how exactly paengs mother died?
So Paeng's mother had an affair with the drama character Mark and she cheated on her husband. Mark then killed Paeng's mom to get all her property and put the blame for the murder on Paeng's dad. Paeng's dad, in grief, committed suicide. Throughout the drama, everyone but Paeng believe that her father had killed her mother until Paeng finds evidence that it was actually Mark who was the murderer.
