Same here. Can't wait to see how that plays out
trailer for which ep? And where can I watch it? It's so hard waiting for new episode to air :/

It really boiled my blood by seeing how they treated FL in the first two episodes. Gender inequality is always…
I think it's cauz they had quite a few fans who delivered food to the base before. Include the fact that the FL had never shown her face in public before, he really didn't know who she was. Only Xiao Rui had seen her and no one else. factor in the non existent patience of the ML when dealing with anyone other that his team members, it came off as quite rude. It's better explained in the novel.
Also, K would've had an attitude regardless of who joined the team since that person will be replacing Ming god. It's not related to gender per say but more of whose position she's there to replace.
What irritates me is that the subs keep showing ML calling her Shorty when it's clearly Kiddo/Kid that he's saying. If you have watched ep 5, you'll see that they respect her and consider her a valuable member of the team.

usually it'll say on baidu who the voice actors are but that info hasn't been filled in yet. i agree with you…
Yeah, but the dubbed voice sounds so close to his original tho. Maybe he took lessons and improved on his accent? It is all studio dubbed, but whose voice? His or someone else is what I'm trying to find. Because in one of his recent interviews he spoke quite well and the voice matched with the dubbing here. But the sync is so off that it looks weird regardless of whose voice it is

Cheng Xiao, the FL, is a gamer from what I read. She has played on a professional and is known within the community…
Yeah, she's quite well known too

Ah, guess will have to wait and see who did the dubbing... Can you please drop a comment if you happen to come across this info later? I would be very grateful :)
I think it's just a case of it being out of sync... But it's only a problem with Xu Kai... Cheng Xiao looks like she's using her own voice and it was set recording too. Really hope it improves later :/
On Falling into Your Smile Jun 24, 2021
I have a question. Does anyone know if Xu Kai and Cheng Xiao are dubbed? I saw an interview and Xu Kai's voice was pretty similar, but dunno why it feels like dubbing still? Maybe he dubbed himself but they didn't sync it properly?

I've caught up to ep12 and I could swear they're trying to set up Petch with Poom with the amount of screen time they get together. Petch looks more at Rut like a person would look at their idol than someone she loves. Why in the world will they make her end up with Rut when her and Poom are already a very good pair beats me at this point

You know, you can figure it out by the 6th ep that it's the husband. The moment he gets frustrated in the office…
Episode 12th, Lan finally opened his mouth to confess his feelings of sorts but then he goes and kisses the snake?????
I'm glad Mook is finally trying to see if the contract can be broken early, but why do I have the feeling that Lan will find the contract before then and then everything will go down the drain again :////

Yeah, I hope we get the ball rolling today's episode onwards... It's past the 10 episode mark, high time they need to start pushing the plot forward else last 2 episodes all they'd be doing is tying up storylines and rushing the ending :/

Literally all they need to do is COMMUNICATE and everything will be fine, but do they? Of course not.... The drama is 17 episodes, after all, not 7 :/

Hehe, I mean it's kinda hard not to when thousand others have done the same thing before. It really does have all the trappings of a typical sis redemption plot, but I just wish they'd do something creative with it for once -.-
I don't think it's misogyny at work here tho. Remember when dad takes a completed project from sis and hands it over to Lan? It wasn't cauz he wanted Lan's name on his sister's efforts but because he wanted Lan to oversee it and get experience since it was already done and self functioning while the sis can take over something else that needs her expertise, something fit for her position. It's sort of like handing over a completed project to juniors to oversee final progress and grease some cobs, do followups while the seniors move on to something else. She has the exact same power as her dad in the company, so she is his equal at work. Even with Lan having a VP position, he would still need approval of the sis and dad to make decisions from what I could understand. Cauz while he is smart, he lacks experience, something that dad knows. But sis is so far gone in her insecurities at this point that she can't see things clearly. And dad doesn't know how to talk to his kids beyond giving them vague one sentence orders. In the last episode, even mom commented that dad needs to have a better communication with his kids. I think this is also one of the reasons why Lan is always so against his dad.
From the looks of it so far, it really is a colossal misunderstanding and I won't be surprised if the root of it all is her own husband who wanted to distance her from her family so that he could take over instead, all in the name of helping her.

I agree……Thats the major drawback in lakhorns…….If you observe 99% of lakorns try to portray unhealthy…
Yeah, 2hr+ episodes are no joke. But you get used to it, I guess :)
So far, my absolute fav is Sen Cal Kapimi, followed by Hercai, Marasli, Teskilat. Hayat Sarkisi is a league of it's own. It's got the typical villainous, blonde female character who does whatever to get her way, only here she's the FL. Coupled with her BFF, who is a guy btw (they NEVER have a love line, which I absolutely love) they navigate crisis after crisis to get to their end goal. Having a family and protecting them at all costs.
All of these dramas have strong women, women in position of power and who know when and how to speak up for themselves and not bow down to patriarchal pressure.

Totally agreed. It just doesn't make sense. Here is a girl who is independent, smart and knows whats best for her and yet all she does is go and tussle with this guy who very clearly doesn't want her around. Unrequited love aside, his actions have proven time and again that he's against this relationship. So why keep going to him, forcing him at the expense of your own personal safety? I mean, he's not above pushing her or throwing her down. And she still gets up with a "I'm not that fragile" dialogue... *face palm*
This could've been so much better. They have the potential, like you can see it in pieces and the cast is amazing if only you work with them properly. The trailers where so misleading that I'm still fuming about it. Literally the only reason why I'm still watching it is cauz I support the people involved. The entire cast and crew did their level best and they're self aware too. Pon and Bua are always on Twitter, and they know what's wrong with the characters but there's only so much control an actor has over a script... Pon has played characters who behaved like humans. I just wish they could reunite in another drama where they behave like actual humans and not some bipolar beings :/
Tbh, they never really drew me in for some reason. I think the last Thai drama that I really enjoyed was My Forever Sunshine. I liked the storyline without the unnecessary violent ML. It made sense atleast. For now, I guess I'll just keep fuming over Praomook while I gorge on some Turkish and Korean dramas. They seem to get the memo that it is indeed 2021 :)
There's this new Turkish drama, Cam Tavanlar where the FL is hard working and talented. It's all about breaking the glass ceiling and not bowing down to patriarchy. And the FL is a CEO on her own. When she's unfairly thrown out, she doesn't bow down but starts her own company instead. The ML is respectful and understanding, yet firm and capable of standing on his own. He comes from a rich family but knows his privilege and works to empower the FL instead. I think you'll like it. It's only 2 eps in so far :)
