I have a question. Was the script written by two different teams? Like one wrote it but then the production house went to another team to add that spice that they thought was missing? Cauz the scenes are really giving me a whiplash..... You have these poignant scenes where Lan and Rut are counseling the sisters on the importance of being a family, ep 9, which was a masterpiece by changing the mood by literally a snap but it wasn't awkward or anything. You moved with the story, it flowed and made sense. But then they hit you over the head with the whole "No, this is a forced marriage. They can be happy, but only this much. No go be a jerk" Like, seriously. There are points when you see Lan has depth. He is resisting his family cauz of something that happened in the past. He hates threats and being pressured into things. It's there for the taking, but then then follow it up with stupid behavior and even worse storylines. One saving grace is that he's always been suspicious of Nutch and never fell for her tricks. Apart from that, I wanna puch him most of the time.
At this point I'm genuinely questioning Mook's intelligence of stubbornly thinking that this sham of a marriage is the only way to keep the house. Girl, sit down with the parents and have a chat. Since they consider your dad such a great friend, use that to have some leverage and gtfo from this marriage. Like now. The whole Lan antics at the funeral was a joke. Like seriously. And Mook being all thanks to Nutch just didn't float my boat. She should've kicked them both out the first chance. Lan now practically throwing Mook to the floor for her own safety... My god do I want to kick him.
My only advice, run Mook run!

From the opening sequence they seem to be promoting the whole happy family vibe. So I guess the sister is going to be more of a passive role in pushing Lan out. Like breaking his marriage, discrediting him etc. I don't think she's behind the attempts on his life yet. She might order one next ep onward judging from the previews but idk might call it off last min cauz she has a change of heart. But her husband will do it instead and then all the blame will go to her. She'll be pushed out cauz they don't believe her, her husband will take her place instead, then she'll see his true colors. Lover boy will assist her and then she'll turn over a new leaf with Mook's help.... And I'm getting way ahead of myself lol
But really, I don't think she really wants Lan dead. It's her own insecurities acting upon her and the dad is only making things worse. If only they could just sit down and have a chat, everything would be resolved in a snap but no, lakorn needs to be dragged to the last ep when they'll suddenly turn happy family with 10mins to the ending :/ Maybe mom should run communications instead, cauz it clearly looks like she has the gift of logic with the kids ^^

No they just modified the subs to put their name before it. I think raw sub files are now on subscene. Subs where either lifted off AGC or Viu -.-

I'm so confused by her age I swear. I could've sworn that she was 17 or something but there are so many conflicting accounts. She does behave like a 15 year old though, so there's that. But I really hope that she's 17 or else they'll need a BIG time skip if she and Rut are to be endgame. Still grossed out by this, tbh :/

Yup, but I guess the confusion between all the attempts was whether it was the sister who aided him knowingly or the guy who liked the sister but didn't get to be with her. I had my bet on the husband but the lover boy would've been a nice twist as well idk :)

I don't think it's the sister though who's behind the life attempts. At least not yet. She was more of trying to push him out by destroying his marriage. That might or might not change now from the previews. But I do believe that she'll just cancel her plans last minute but her husband will carry them out instead. They're promoting the whole happy family at the end vibe, so they need to make her passive for redemption later on I guess ^^

yeah, watched it live and it still gives me creeps, this guy... I just hope he doesn't pull the sister down with him

But yeah, it does seem like Lan's finally regaining his braincells... I just want Mook to stop being all passive and get into action :)

Also, looks to me that Rut's attraction to Mook is surface level at best. But the reason why he's so cold towards Petch even though he clearly prefers the younger sibling is cauz he's freaked out by it. He's always being described as a playboy with a specific preference. While Mook meets all the criterias, Petch doesn't for obvious reasons. I think it's setting off a mini panic attack within him and he's just unconsciously pushing Petch away. And Petch being a kiddo and minor doesn't help either. And he did NOT kiss Petch. They had this weird lip touch things but Rut did not initiate it and he moved away as soon as he came to his senses. So, doesn't count in my books. Maybe few episodes in he'll finally realize what he's doing and either correct his actions or choose to stay away. He's clearly been the more perspective out of the lot and I have high hopes for him *fingers crossed*

I'm so pissed at Lan rn that I really just can't with his shit anymore. Like seriously. And at the writers too. He's such a disbalanced character like omg one moment he's a decent guy bordering on nice and the next minute he's a jerk that needs to be punched, hard. Him being jealous of Mook and Rut when her father literally JUST died was just the tip of the iceberg for me. And now he's apparently going to get it on with Nutch at the funeral from the looks of it. Speechless. I mean, seriously.

I really want to ask Mook. At this point, is he really worth it? She can sell off the house and get help from Lan's dad to set herself up. I mean, he looks like he'd me inclined to help, especially now. And both sisters are clearly clever even though one is still a brat. Why put yourself through all of this when all you get is insults and blatant disrespect? It doesn't even a kink or anything for them, just that one hates the other and that's that. Is it really worth all this mess and heartache just to make a point to him? Like, girl leave.

We're all whining about Petch being a brat when Lan is in the same category too. His parents need to cut him off financially, take all the cards, money, cars etc. and maybe then he'd realize why Mook is doing all this.

True, but the newer ones end well most of the time so I do prefer Turkish on that aspect. Hercai was amazing. They're attractive and their chemistry is on fire. It made me so angry when he walked away without a glance but she gets back at him for every injustice he did to her, and he sincerely repents and apologizes to her which I like. Plus it's an amazingly well written drama in terms of how unique the main villain is. I sometimes fell really bad for her while the other times I hated her to the core.
Their eyes speak even tho they can't kiss. One of the main reasons why I stuck around with Teskilat. Plus I love Deniz's character especially after what happened with Fazilet Hanim with the last few episodes ^^
