That's it. I can't take it anymore. Dongfang is amazing but Orchid Fairy is unbearable. I thought, just have patience,…
P.S. Last episodes were quite amazing, so much emotion and I did indeed root for them to be together. This is probably the only drama that managed to get me from "I want to drop" this into "I'm obsessed with this, I need to watch it again!"
I dropped this at episode 5... Initially watched it to see Dylan, but FL's character was really off-putting for…
I know she was a baby, but it was still hard to move past it. Nevertheless I persevered and it was worth it, she dramatically improved after episode 26.
Oh wow Yeah going to drop this also at episode 14As I don't like the way the plot is unfolding now
I don't know if you have patience or not but I finished the drama and in the end, it was worth it for me. The last 10 episodes of the show brought me back into it. I enjoyed them so much I want to watch the drama all over again.
She stops being as loud and insufferable somewhere around that ep…tbh I never liked her and I almost dropped…
I'm at ep. 23 and she's still very much childish and annoying. She was better for a few episodes before the mortal world arc started but she's insufferable again. The constant pouting is killing me.
I gave this a chance because the rating was so high, but can someone tell me if the FL gets less annoying/cringey…
I was able to tolerate her until episode 19 but after that, each episode I just want to push her off a cliff. I've only got about 12 episodes left and I've lost faith that she's going to get better.
I was totally obsessed with it but I'm about halfway through and I've lost my patience and interest. I think I'll…
I was totally into it despite being a bit irritated with the FL until episode 19. After that they were like back to square one and now I'm getting more bored and annoyed each episode.
Dongfang is amazing but Orchid Fairy is unbearable. I thought, just have patience, she will have character growth but I'm 23 episodes in and she's getting worse: painfully childlike, always scheming behind Dongfang's back, ever obsessed with Chang Heng. I mean, she found out how he became this way, what he went through with his father, she kept scheming to switch back his emotions and when he's vulnerable again she's like "Nah, I don't care about you".
She saw how everybody in her realm turned on her, they would have tortured and killed her and she's like, nope, I'm going to constantly betray the man that saved and protected me multiple times to stay faithful to people who bullied me then tried to kill me. How am I supposed to ship this?
I'm 2/3 into the show as there's no connection between them, just childish bickering.
I liked the FL but what's with all the fuss about Sheng Huai Nan? I found him quite boring and his hot and cold is infuriating. Zhang Ming Rui was so cute on the other hand, wish he was the one she liked.
I don't think I've seen a more pathetic and stupid female lead. Wu Tong's actions didn't make any sense. She finally gets married to the father of her child, and she claims she loves him but she doesn't tell people at work, she won't tell Xiang who keeps saying they're together. They keep saying she's an amazing mother but would even a so-and-so mother do that? Neglect her family to maintain a shady relationship with a man who is not her husband? When is she ever with the boy when Li Zhong is not around? She's always running around with Xiang somewhere.
Not to mention she's basically a sexual predator that stalked Li Zhong and took advantage of him when he was pissed drunk and she knew that he was mistaking her for someone else.
I think the general LGBT community in Japan mentioned that they're not happy with the lack of physical intimacy…
I agree. It's not about including an 18+ scene. They could've included just a few more meaningful looks, a couple of good hugs, a delicate amount of skinship, no kisses necessary. They way they avoid intimacy at all cost in this movie is just too blatantly discriminatory.
As a sequel it's very good, even if not as good as the TV series. However, it's a little contradictory for me…
They didn't even have too kiss. A couple of meaningful hugs would have sufficed but they seemed repelled by the idea of touching each other in any capacity.
I loved the ending but the chemistry between the leads was just gone in this film. They felt like strangers. I get that the actors didn't feel comfortable kissing on the lips but there are so many other ways to relay intimacy. A tight hug, a kiss on the cheek, a kiss on the forehead, caressing the face. These are things that any good actor should be able to do, no matter who they're acting partner is. It's about showing the characters' emotions.
Just went through the comment section cant believe a few people find the drama boring with the progression while…
It's one of the few C-dramas I was not tempted to drop halfway because it was becoming stale, this managed to keep me interested all the way to the current episode.
