Great show! (Obviously neglecting the plot holes here and there like in every kdrama). The one takeaway from this kdrama would be that epinephrine is a miracle drug lol. Just jab that stuff into anyone not moving and you can wake up even the dead ( obviously this is a wild exaggeration)
One of the rumoured producers for S2 said some of the scenes have been shot. Also, it will be in the Phillipines and earlier in 2023 Lee Seung Gi said in the interview that they will surely shoot S2 and were internally discussing it.

Fr! I'm yet to find out why people sat through all of it. Perhaps their situation resonated and felt they could escape into that fantasy of the kdrama or were just smitten by the aesthetics.
I couldn't even getpast 6 episodes of meet yourself. I find it so boring. I wonder how people sat through it. PS : I have watched slow burn dramas too but they did a good job of still keeping things interesting. Here it felt more like they wanted to bank on the aesthetics of the place and the actors to keep the viewers hooked for when things get interesting. The other shows managed to keep me engaged and I felt meet yoursself should have done a better job. Also, I was really excited to watch it because of its raving reviews.

Otherwise, it just seems like you have no foundation for it and it's just because you're biased rather than being objective about it. I wouldn't say she nailed it. Simply because all it talks about are only the pros while clearly disregarding the drop in quality halfway into it. Well written - the first half yes. The writing clearly tanked halfway. Making the characters smart and dumb just so the plot can progress isn't great writing. Great characters - most of them yes. But Mori? How is he a well written character and it could have been ignored if he was a sub plot character.
Well, he is right though. The quality clearly nosedived around the halfway mark. Also, I'm pretty sure he meant to state your reasons for disagreemenet rather than giving a snarky one liner without anything to back it up. I actually agree for the most part. The amnesia break was still kind of forgiveable since they didn't over stretch it. However, it's from the midway that the writing just became ridiculous. The most frustrating part was Mori. I have no clue what his character is there for - he has no depth nothing and then they give him a ridiculous back story through a short flashback. Like he couldn't remember it for so many years and suddenly a tree breaks and it dawns on him. It started feeling like they just started adding stuff to fill the episode quota. This could have been one of the best ones out there.

The writing started becoming stupid, a lot of repeated scenes, Mori is like the worst character ever written and they just magically dumb down or make them smarter to progress the plot. I have not completed the drama yet because I could not digest anymore of what was going on and I binged the 18 episodes straight. Will probably resume after a break.
