I love the plot but it bothers me so much how she clearly likes him when he's a HS student. I can't get past that.…
This is so untrue lol. Their chemistry was so much visibile even during her adolescent years. You can clearly see the difference between the dynamic of her and her brother and her and the ML. So many even praised the drama for the butterflies it gave them, all before she went to university. Yet you say it was really clear in this drama, where it's simply her joy of teaching a brilliant student.
It wasn't romantic but the FL did a terrible job with her acting it's so clear she likes him romantically when…
It really isn't. If anything if you watched hidden love you would see the ML's expressiona and that flirtatious smile is always the same and he's always teasing her. While her dynamic with her brother can clearly be perceived as that of a brother-sister. However, since that's just his face can't do much about him genuinely smiling and caring for the FL. The underlying chemistry between them was so palpable from almost start to finish, which is why so many like that drama . People even explained about the butterflies it gave them lol. But hey, I watched it and understood for what the story and character was and gave it a high rating because it was a really good drama. If you watched this drama till the end you would notice that the teacher actually gets so uncomforatble and shocked when she hears about his feelings for her during the school years - where she actually rejects his feelings and the photo and pleads with him to direct it to something more productive. I would like to avoid misinformation about this drama since no drama deserves to be unfairly judged.
student teacher is not my type of romance, especially if the student is like 16...if they are like 20 or 21 then…
Exactly, like why don't you actually watch it first bfore commenting about something that it isn't. Oh but I guess Hidden love is alright in this regard :)
I would love to get an age range of viewers who enjoyed this verse those who didn't. Cause I really enjoyed the…
The ones who didn't like this are not the most mature audience. You can see from how they argue their case and toot about morals when they rated hidden love and goblin higher lol. Like there's blatant romance there while here the romance is so much later.
I think this drama can be either a hit or a miss for viewers, I have to say I did like it, it was interesting…
It's a miss mainly because people have the notion this is a student-teacher romance lol. Like it seems they never experienced sharing the same passion with people before and how excited one can get meeting another person who loves the same thing as much as you do
It wasn't romantic but the FL did a terrible job with her acting it's so clear she likes him romantically when…
What? How did she portray romantic feelings lol. You never even understood the charcter then and just blatantly saw through some rose coloured lenses. She was excited that she found someone who shared the same passion as her and who had immense taltents for it. However, seeing as he was hiding in his shell she cared and believed in him when no one else did. Her smile and joy were perfectly showcased and resembled that of a little child - honest and pure. It's only that some people choose to see it as romantic sense because of the bg music and the shots. It was made to showcase the guy's feelings not her feelings. She was even shocked and shut his feelings down really fast and like a good teacher she asked that he direct those feelings towards something more productive
Such groomer dramas shouldnt air. Respect student teacher relationship !!!!
Lol this is hypocrisy at it's best! Crying about a groomer drama and rated goblin an 8. Oops! Also, which part of it was grroming - do you mean where the teacher belives and helps a student come out of his shell and helps his talent shine? Like did you even watch the whole drama and even understand what grooming is? The teacher did what she was supposed to do, which was guide and share the passion of learning math. Now the student started to have feelings which she shut down instantly and asked him to direct it to something better and kept doing so even after they were adults. Also, let's be realy everyone of us has had a crush on someone older during our teenage years be it a celeb or a teacher. Should we then blame and shame them or understand that these feelings are something natural to have and guide them towards better directions? Really disappointing to see such people apply their so called " moral compass" on others but fail to do so when it comes to them. The scene where the teacher asks Yerin to stop blaming others and check herself first is very apt for such people
I am so tired of the fake moralists here making it something that it's not. I am currently watching and it's such…
Exactly! They don't have any problem with goblin but here they suddenly have an issue when it was completely one sided during the school days from the student's side. To be real as well, everyone of us has or had a crush on someone older during our teenage years. Like so many teenagers openly claim that BTS are their husbands or some other celeb as their wives. Like, does it not apply then for them lol. I was thoroughly disappointed that this drama got rated so harshly when it shouldn't have been so. Such a beautiful drama that deserves more recognition and a fair rating.
ah no i hate this teacher-student dynamic. i mean would it kill to make it uni freshman and professor ??
This isn't that bad and it's not something unrealistic. Everyone one of us has had teenage crushes of someone older in our life - be it a teacher, celebrity or someone similar. Also, it was completely one sided during the school days and the teacher handled it maturely and instead of blaming and shaming him requested that he channel it towards something better
Yes, they do end up together way later when they are much older and a minute before the drama ends so I don't understand why people are complaining saying this is some forbidden romance between a student-teacher and rating it so low
This was one of the most beautiful stories ever. I have so much to say but just can't find the right words to describe it. Yes, there are some exaggerated bits to make it more dramatic(well,it is a drama after all), however everything was executed and directed so well. Also, the student does have a crush on the teacher, but let's be real who hasn't had a crush on their teacher. So I really don't get why people are complaining about this. I can certainly say that most of the people complaining had or has a crush on someone older to them - like so many teenagers love BTS or Taylor Swift and openly call them their husbands or wives, yet complain about the student having a crush on the teacher here lol. The teacher is very mature and does nothing to manipulate or lead the student on. Her character purely enjoys math and she meets a student who enjoys it too but is hiding in his shell when she meets him. She then helps him to shine as she whole heartedly believes in him while no one does.
