also, i dont get why everyone hates kang gil young. I fear this is because she is a female because.. why? you…
Haha it's probably just because she's the most aggressive one amongst the three. Like she's always angry and seems like she hates everyone. However, this is just how her character should be and the actress portrayed her quite well. Given what happened to her mother during her childhood, she built a wall around and to protect herself she also put the blame on the other two for what happened to her mother. However, she feels tremendous guilt towards how she treated her mother and even though she knows it's not really their fault, she did so to avoid taking responsibilty for her own guilt. Also, due to the nature of her job too she has to be more masculine and this also adds more to her aggressiveness too. She obviously does get over this later and we can notice how she warms up to the other two. Her expressions also soften gradually and she even shows extreme care for the other two. All in all, this is what I would expect from her character.
I’m 6 episodes in and I don’t understand the hate for the female lead in the comments lmao?? the behavior…
True! People haven't really empathised or understood her character. The actress portrayed Kang Gilyoung quite well and I appreciated the nuances too. She is supposed to be aggressive towaards others cause she's become defensive given what happened at a young age. Also, she feels tremendous guilt towards what happened to her mother and the aggressive and dislike she portrays is mostly her projecting her own feelings towards her self.
How stupid though. This was supposed to be get a sequel movie but thre has been no news yet and most likely scraped. How disappointing not giving this gem a sequel probably cause the higher ups don't deem it to be a profitable investment.
Why in Kdrama, is SML always the first to know about the FL secrets / comes to ML he is the last person who knows…
Well, the episodes would be cut by half then. Also, if it's something that still works - why not? They are after all making these dramas for profit for the most part. If the viewers stop rating dramas objectively rather than for their bias or cause they like one aspect, the quality of dramas would greatly improve.
completed ep 9 and I am hella confused. in ep 2 they showed a woman running and being attacked by a killer. but…
The ML's mother is the woman who was killed from 20 years ago. She is a witness but get's caught by the killer outside the phone booth when she finally decides to tell the detective the truth, as seen in episode 8. In episode 2 it's a random woman who was killed and the dead man recently discovered was the disabled worker in the prosecution office who went missing and whom the ex medical director replaced.
While I'm sure this review was written with the best of intentions, I must disagree with your opinion that the most difficult thing to deal with is your soul. If we are not our soul then who are we? Our mind? body? It's not "ourself" that is the hardest to deal with... it all boils down to our mind and emotions and how we deal with it. I don't know how you reached the conclusion that dealing with the soul is the toughest thing but I do hope this is something in your experience and not something you just thought about. It's quite a dangerous thing to state assumptions as facts.
While this is an exceptional drama, love the hypocrisy shown by some people who loved this drama while bashing…
Totally man! I get your point. It was funny seeing how the others in your comment actually prove your point lol. Both are really good dramas and I like that you're shedding light on this. I was so confused too when others categorised melancholia as a teacher-student sexual relationship? What lol. The most intimate thing there was a kiss which was at the last two minutes of the last episode, when they are both ADULTS. Seems like they only read the synopsis because it says due to a sexual scandal there haha. Apparently, they don't realise that it's a false scandal and they were actually wronged which would be apparent had they watched the drama. But no, let's trash it solely based on two words in the synopis and not base it on facts. Jeez! No wonder it's so easy to get one's reputation tarnished these days.
Pretty sure the prosecutor told her Seo jiwan is hyun woo.
For sure! The fact she wasn't mad in the preview and even went out on a blind date to make him jealous. She wants him to open up and is giving him time and space

You can also watch King of Pigs which has the Taxi Driver lead and also Strangers from hell.
You could also watch save me which has a lot of gaslighting, manipulation and suspense.
