Drama is outstanding, but it suffers from a huge materialistic and consumerist understanding of life in Chinese society. Every problem is the problem of money and protagonists struggle while they try to achieve a dream that is a financial safety and money. And that's why the ending is not a surprise, so we can't experience any katharsis or redemption. But it was a great pleasure for me to watch drama and characters, they were real, imperfect, similar to us.

Ikr, Do Yeon is a better character, deeper and more interesting. It's clever and sweet girl for whom bonds with other people and loyalty are important. The strong relationship between him and her would be enough to carry the entire drama. While detective and professor didn't know each other and even didn't fall in love with each other. Everything with them is blurry and unclear. Yes, Do Yeon is simply a waste of a great heroine.
The forced quasi-romance between detective and professor is weird and absolutely unnecessary, especially when the director already has two fine leads with good chemistry: detective and his journalist friend. And Lee Da In acting is really good. I like her and I wish she would have more screen time.
A very satisfying drama about life with a great OST. The retrospective storey is well done and it's interesting. Good job with directing, acting and music!
You must’ve been on drugs while watching this movie. You can’t compare this shitty movie to Train To Busan.
I can't remember if in Train to Busan is presented any problem, yeah, there was multum zombies in train. Peninsula is a kind of interpretation of postapocaliptic world, maybe not very original, but still quite good and entertaining. And I prefer Kang Dong Won as a hero.
But it was a great pleasure for me to watch drama and characters, they were real, imperfect, similar to us.
