At one point I was like is the entire cast crying every single scene? It got on my nerves when I watched The Double. Sucks for the cast, it's hard crying take after take. Also as a viewer, it looses its significance.

I don't really recall. I think her being the crying bystander all the time overshadowed what she contributed. Her idea of going into the sundial to regrow the flute was smart.

I was not planning on watching due to the cast/plot but I'm glad I took a chance. Hou Ming Hao played Zhao Yuan Zhou very well. I'll be more open to his series moving forward! The subtle comedy was enjoyable and I love Little Verses and the choreography <3 Grateful to discover the best looking villain/tree I've ever seen, hope Yanan gets more interesting roles. Although some themes got redundant, edits were choppy, Wen Xiao being the most useless FL and the crying was more excessive than The Double, overall I enjoyed the series.

I literally was taken aback at the reveal of his built! However, in ep 7 right before the physician came (it was a quick flash of his chest) I'm wondering if it was CGI. I hope not T.T
