MN's powers seems pretty cool, but sadly underused as we're nearing the end (and would I be bothered to care how she uses it will be the rhetorical question here). .....immorons (to use Mermaid's term) having to ask what they're seeing confirms their cultivation in the Brainless Way.🤦♀️ ......HAHAHAHA WHAT A COWARD IDIOT CEN IS .......DM vs Shifu gives TTJ vs XL a run for their money😅 ......GJW STILL insists TTJ is the enemy😖 but all of them just hanging around the edges of BA is just useless.... ......meanwhile we have Shifu singlehandedly fighting Twoface in a BRILLIANT display of the Xiaoyao Swordplay...but Twoface's venom crawls into his skin😰 and Twoface indulges in self praise, as IF he was the one who opened the AIDW (well,, physically he did) ....LSS confronts Twoface, who acts as if he was a father she is proud of. HAH! As if him giving her life trumps the years of care that her REAL father, Chief Qu, gave her. .....Twoface tells LSS she's like her mother. YES! She's the daughter of Chu Huang, badass phoenix goddess, through and through. And yes, CH must be deeply regretting not finishing off that slimeball especially now. .......CJM makes an entrance by saving LSS, Sky slashing sword inches away from her neck. LYX's characters make the coolest entrances ever. ........FINALLY THAT TWOFACED B IS DEAD, poetically by the same sword that killed Chief Qu. Indeed, how did he ever think he deserves that sword? ......but the ominous change in music signals the change coming😰😭 LSS's expression of relief turns into horror as CJM finally transitions into DG. ....."Are you TTJ, or are you the DG?" is such a heartbreaking question. Noticeably, DG3.0 doesn't answer that question, and instead, pulls out the soul slaying nails in his heart to emphasize that their connection has been severed and disintegrated like them... LSS could only look on sadly. ......only after LSS was gone did DG3.0 drop the cold mask and show his pain🥺 ......"You have to live well" -- Shifu cares for and trusts his disciple so much😭 (this is giving Rurouni Kenshin vibes for me) .....Shifu eventually makes CJM understand how the AIDW can be stopped, and it's by CJM turning into DG .....watching CJM being forced to kill Shifu with the sword he gave him is painful😭😭 brb while i quickly stop the tears .....and to have the enchantment disappear as soon as his sect brothers come up😭 he couldn't even grieve his shifu first before being confronted by the looks of betrayal from his sect brothers ......we interrupt the program to give you a breather from all the crying you did: a recap of the love story of the 2nd couple we've quite forgotten existed😅🤣🤣 not skipping since I need to gather my senses again for the next round of heart-wrenching scenes .....from then till now, TTJ doesn't want anything to do with YBC😅🤣 But she still insists she could be useful ......idiot Cen making his own obligatory villain speech before dying. Oh well. ......LSS pondering on all CJM said to her, the promises he made, and determines to go to the demon realm to confront him about it. GJW tries to stop her, but of course he can't. Well, to answer your question, First, there should be an alternarive in case something goes wrong. Second, LSS was laser focused on Ji Ze's instructions of turning the teardrop into the nails that she didn't think of the alternative. Only when she failed in the nailing did she think of the alternative.

Just imagine the scene: LSS sneaking away from TTJ so she can cultivate the divine essence. TTJ barges in suddenly and asks what are you doing? LSS explains about the devil bone and using divine essence to exchange, but TTJ tells her to stop! I don't want you risking your life for me, are you an idiot? WOJ is going to kill you, when did you get that? LSS explains, TTJ gets angry and asks why did you have to do that for me?? (I'm wondering where to insert the kiss scene. Probably here🤣) LSS and TTJ struggle over the WOJ. The crow gets it and flies away, then dropping the WOJ in the Nether River. --the end--
While re-watching some of my favorite scenes and episodes, I had a couple of questions come up in my mind. I wonder…
1) LSS was following MY's example. I think you can't just simply take out the evil bone without killing TTJ, and if you have to take it out, you have to exchange it with something with the same energy, hence divine essence =evil bone. It is both payback (for having stuck him with the nails) and necessity.
2) that scenario had already played out in ep. 1. If DG is not a refomed CJM, he definitely would be a force to be reckoned with because love does not hold him back. And LSS couldn't ascend to godhood because there was nothing to push her (it was only thru CJM's push that she became a god). ADG is way beyond DG2.0 and CJM-DH since he's the original one, more powerful than all 12 gods combined. Micha explained that ADG is a level above the 12 gods that's why it took all of them to defeat him and that at the cost of their lives. Good thing they did, so DG2.0 and CJM-DG were only sort of watered down versions of him.
This episode once again highlights the malevolence of the immortal sect. I wonder why they're so driven by hatred.1…
