You shouldn’t have to read a book seperately to ‘understand’ a coming of age drama though. It is the responsibility of the writers to present a clear picture.

I thought the same thing, which is why I tried to look out for pictures of friends, cause that would make more sense, but didn't see any, which made it super weird imo. Imagine her brother going to visit and seeing pictures of his best friend with his little sister. I got the ick, ngl.

Fair enough. Although for me, at this point, it's not a major concern. I just can't seem to understand the male lead. In episode 10, he even appears to have a photo of himself with his best friend's little sister, next to a picture of him and his mom at his place. Found that so bizarre. At this point, his intentions and character are unclear to me.

I find his behaviour very weird so far. Can’t put my finger on it but it seems manipulative at times.

I'm on episode 8 and I have the same thoughts. I thought it was going to blow my mind but it's a 7.5 - 8 so far.

Same. Binged the first three episodes and loved it so much! Reminds me of True Beauty. So if you haven't watched that one, I recommend!

I think it's quite quirky. What makes it special for me are the endearing characters portrayed by wonderful actors.

I have no problem with providing valid criticism when necessary, and if I watch this and not like it I will say so, or if there is something which I don't like, e.g. music, poster whatever I will say so. It's the unnecessary meanness that irritates me. Someone was saying there were comments saying the actors are ugly. That's so mean!!!
