I am almost hesitant to believe that it will actually air this month.
Definitely. Its super highly anticipated. I’m not quite sure when but I remember seeing pictures of filming in Europe and I think Canada, and thinking this show is going to be big.

Appreciate the apology and the fact that you prioritised both the Quran and Bible in your latest comment. To think this could have been avoided if they gave the characters different names and slightly different story. It just is so upsetting seeing Christianity getting attacked by everyone. I don't know where you are in this world, but please know that in some Christian countries like mine, Christians are offering places which were previously used by Christians to pray to Muslims so they also have a dignified place of worship. In an ideal world, respect is mutual. That's all from my end. Wishing everyone a good day/night.

Wow. suggesting Jesus as the devil when Christian countries are supporting Palestine? I could say some things about Mohammed but I've been taught to be respectful. Your comment is so disappointing.
Ah yes, as if Christianity is not ridiculed enough. What an ignorant, hateful comment. Why bring in Christianity…
You made it one against the other when you pointed out Jesus. Meanwhile, as Christians we are protesting for free Palestine and sending help. Glad to see where we stand in this world.
They brought the whole concept of "iblis" and tried to romanticize iblis in love story, and used the quotes…
Ah yes, as if Christianity is not ridiculed enough. What an ignorant, hateful comment. Why bring in Christianity into it?? I thought Jesus was respected in Islam.
- What type of spiced blunt did they smoke? XD I mean, it's a bit all over the place when it comes to origin stories;…
Me too, I like the last part. I think my problem is that my expectations were super high. I'm on episode two and I will definitely finish the drama. I always do. Hopefully I start to like it a bit more. I have to say the acting is amazing. The fl reminds me of the female lead in it's okay to not be okay. She gives off badass energy.
We're just gonna have to respectfully agree to disagree. Haven't watched all of it obviously cause it just came out. Will have a better idea of the show once finished. But as long as people's beliefs are not ridiculed or made fun of, I don't think I have a problem with it. If they are I might understand your perspective a bit more.
Genuine question, do you think most black people would care how any white person does their hair? I've listened to many and most don't. Personal opinion now: I think those kind of hairstyles look best on people of the black community. On another note though, sometimes culture appropriation is mistaken for cultural appreciation I think. Some people like some cultures so much they try to copy some elements out of honest love for it. This is where I stand: intention matters. Like I said in an earlier comment, in today's world where communities are intertwined it's expected for elements of different cultures to blend together. That's the beauty of life. We're not islands standing alone.
I'm not the one getting triggered over a freaking fictional genie. Watching dramas all day? Can't do that with a full time job. I'm old enough to know that life is already difficult, and I shouldn't try to dictate how others do their hair or say. Peace.
