From what I see and understand so far, I kinda agree with you that it's prolly more of the mind than the heart as of now. I can see she uses more her brain/intellect whenever she mentions who she wants to marry, "No matter what choice he faces, I'm always his first choice. No matter what happens, he will never give up on me. I will spend my life with him."
However, she has yet to mention the matter of the heart, her heart, what her heart really wants. I have yet to hear her outrightly say she has to love the person and that person has to love her as well.

TJC just acting with his brilliant eyes, when FFB was asking, "Why not quit being a princess and wander around with me?" His eyes were so hopeful looking at XY as he was waiting for her answer. And then she says, "Okay. If you give up everything, I'll go with you." I saw two emotions lit in his eyes, gladness and sadness. And then gone they are in a flash as he chuckles 😥 Poor my demon.
Also when XY canceled on going out with him coz she remembered Xuan's request to be with Jing, that shift of smile to anger and then smile again in FFB's eyes is so 👏👏👏. Idk exactly how he feels at that moment but I feel like he's being abandoned/dumped.
