If I'm correct, looks like after the Divine/Heaven Arc is the mortal one. And then it looks like we might go back to Heaven again? I see in the MV there was a scene where Yan Dan kissed Ying Yuan/Tang Zhou at the Land Under the Horizon, the place where they build the Goudan Abode, and there were lotuses in front of them when we know lotuses can't grow in that place.
I think the biggest difference between Kdrama and Kdrama fans to CDrama fans are that us CDrama fans SURE loves…
I enjoy both! And I'm pretty sure if someone from a Kdrama suddenly watches a Cdrama, my, my, they'll be in for a treat.. probably mostly frustrations 😹
I think the sadness from Ep 12-13 is quite tolerable for me so far, yet it is indeed heart-wrenching. The fact that if only one, just one of them, speaks the truth, it wouldn't end the way it should. It's pulling my heartstrings because I can empathize with both Yan Dan and Ying Yuan. That's what hurts the most because, as viewers, we all know it. The 'betrayal' Yan Dan must have felt, the assumptions she has that Ying Yuan doesn't even recognize her, the helplessness Ying Yuan has, and the silent treatment he had to show Yan Dan to protect her in his own way, it's agonizing yet poignantly beautiful just the same. I didn't bawl my eyes out yet, but I got very teary-eyed.
This is how it is if two impeccable actors come together in a drama. Nothing's gonna go wrong. Kudos to both Yang Zi and Cheng Yi 👏👏👏. It was a blessing to the drama world that the universe brought you two together.
I'm not crying, but I have these weird feelings of heaviness and sadness in my heart. I'm such a sadist for becoming…
But before they met at the Jade Pool... there was that moment when they met again after Ying Yuan was healed and went to see Yan Dan, that was another scene that is endearing in a bittersweet way. Yan Dan finally seeing YY fine and all healed, YY checking out the condition of her injured heart.
God, here the main characters are so charming, sexy and attractive. that Yu Mo simply fades against his background.…
I am a sucker for SMLs if it is done all right. Yu Mo is undoubtedly a good man too. I love the dynamic between him and Yan Dan, but just as friends. Period. Even though he seems to harbor romantic feelings for Yan Dan, I just see them that way. Maybe because since the get-go, my heart is already with Cheng Yi, so I would never worry about having SL syndrome. Yang Zi and Cheng Yi's chemistry is so palpable that it radiates on my screen, that no one can ever beat that.
Oh, god... poor Yan Dan with all the sufferings and misunderstanding she has to endure. And even though Ying Yuan knows everything, he can't do much about it to protect her.
That last scene in Ep. 13 when Yan Dan straightly asked him, "Do you not believe me either?" The silence in between speaks so much volume. The punishment for love is death, so I guess Ying Yuan had to choose the Heavenly Gallows instead.
Also, I love the fact that Ying Yuan doesn't give a damn to both Zhi Xi and that conniving Curator.
In a nutshell, I can only blame the Curator, Zhi Xi, the circumstance they're in, the Heavenly duties a deity must uphold, and that freakin' rule of love abstinence that's making both Yan Dan and Ying Yuan miserable.
He’s trending here in SG too! 🎉🎉 Also, got new updates on his douyin🤭
Very true. I tried learning Japanese too, but the writing also is what makes it harder since there are three types and then you combine them.. haha. At least for the pronunciation, it's not that very difficult.
But is the cliff scene the same as well?
