I feel like rooting for Yu Mo and Xiao Lan. At least it won't be a too forbidden love because they literally belong to the same sea. I like the status of the relationship between Yu Mo and Yan Dan so I hope he doesn't get too hung up with his feelings for Yan Dan knowing it won't be reciprocated. At least give the good boy his own happiness.

Ying Yuan slept for more than 800 years, while Yan Dan is still walking the river for more than 800 years. These two like to parallel and contrast each other.

Ying Yuan seems so ready to die, trying to preoccupy himself with his celestial duties, almost like an empty shell. When he learned that Yan Dan has crossed the river (albeit it's not), he feels relieved but sad at the same time, coz it only means Yan Dan has forgotten him but at least will be able to keep her life. And when he woke up after 800 years, he was informed she hasn't crossed yet. Still, he feels relieved but sad, because it means she also can't forget about him but is suffering just as much.

Yan Dan and Ying Yuan are two peas in a pod. When YY was blind, Yan Dan took care of him under a guise. And now that YD is also blind, he's also doing the same.

Even how many realms will pass, surely these two will always find each other.
