So we really might actually see IS this Q2? Youku released the list of dramas that are planned to premiere in Q2 (9 dramas in total) and, indeed, IS is one of them. Yang Yang's drama, China Special Forces, will be premiering on April 5th. The Blue Whisper Part 2 on April 4th. Let's see which drama is next. Let this be true.

LOL.. were you waiting for TBW's subs as well? Still can't believe what they did with TBW. However, I don't think it will happen with IS, since they've been posting it on their YT channel, and some people are speculating Youku might not even sell this drama to any platforms.
Allen said in his livestream yesterday that's it's hard to act with less dialogue and just expressions. But I think that's one of the ways you can measure someone's caliber in acting if he/she can act with just expressions alone. And he nailed it! Reba, in one of her interviews, said that Changyi is very similar to Allen, honest and sincere. So the scene that's memorable for her is when he changed, because acc. to her, she can definitely feel that, "Whoa, this person really changed." And when the camera cuts, Allen will go back to that same Changyi she knows ... haha..

I'm kind of contemplating also. Maybe I'll stay away from Part 2's page. Being spoiled of Part 1 is already enough. I don't wanna take all the fun of knowing it all, ending included. I'm also afraid it will take away my enjoyment, like you. Considering I'm very much picky and moody when it comes to dramas. Once my interest dissipates, I might not finish a certain drama. I'm just taking advantage of the fact that this year, I'm leaning more towards Cdramas, so here I am. Hence, here's to hoping subs come faster before I lose my interest.

I also blame it on the censorship, the novel is indeed darker than the drama so they toned down the bloody tortures. But there's no other choice, for this drama to be released, it has to be done that way. I remember reading that part where she had not seen the sun for six years, which is why it's giving her intense pain while at the same time yearning for it.
