I guess Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop are destined to partner in a drama one way or another. They were supposed to be the pair for Clean with Passion for Now and now finally they meet ~

Part of me wanna bet for the happy ending, but as the commenter down below said, the screenwriter for this drama is famous for sad endings.... so even though it is based on a novel, it's still up to the screenwriter. So, guess I'll just have to prepare myself for it ~

Yup, I know coz for me, it would have been nice if BH had a proper farewell as well... but overall, this drama is still great for me. I mean, it was a happy ending. Isn't that what everyone wants? Happy ending. And now that we got it, I guess some still aren't satisfied... hehe...

I feel like that's the main reason others don't like the ending... the drama was centered on Bong Hwan's perspective that we almost forgot So Yong most of the time. So everyone was so invested on SoBong. But it's why we called them SoBong, right? Because there's So Yong and Bong Hwan, but because Bong Hwan's dominant, people were focused on him more. I guess that's why they did the spin-off to show what they weren't able to show on So Yong's part in the drama.

Bong Hwan is dominant on the thinking and actions of the body, while So Yong is on the emotions and feelings ~

Well, despite the ending is not what everyone expects/wants it to be, can't deny that Mr. Queen is still one of the best Kdramas this 2021 ~! This surely made me laugh and laugh, and then cry, With this still ongoing pandemic, I thank the producers, crew and cast for giving us this wonderful drama ^^ ~ Hope one day KJH and SHS can reunite in a modern drama coz their chemistry is just amazing ~

Still, the last ep's rating is the highest though so I guess majority are satisfied.

Well, I couldn't really speak for the majority since I know there are always two sides. Because honestly, for me, if they went for the homo ending, I don't really mind considering what the characters went through. I would have also wanted SoBong to stay. But I guess we just can't always have what we want :)

Oops, you're right, I should have worded it more appropriately. I mean, the ratings are already showing how most Knetz like it. But I know even how great a drama is, some Knetz would still find flaws from it. So these people behind the production and all are probably just going for the safer side, you know, free from backlash and everything... can't blame them tho.

And I understand that. Korea isn't just ready, I guess. But this drama is a good start... maybe one day, Kdramas can be a little more open-minded and accepting.
