After reading many comments, I decided that the best way to watch this drama is while its airing. If not, if any…
Finally found someone similar to me... haha... since I have a tendency of not continuing dramas or putting them in the shelf for months and even years, I'm now trying to watch ongoing dramas so that I can finish them. This is why I have lots of pending dramas in my list because I always start a drama if there's something new even if I still have lots to watch first >.<
Ugh, Kdrama writers doing it again, making the FL unlikable. I like her in the first 4 episodes because somehow she is rational, composed and not so reckless, very much the opposite our ML, which I think is a good balance. And now, the writer is suddenly making her out of character. I hope this doesn't go on and on again. Idk if this is a trend in Kdramas that they make their FLs annoying or what, compared to the MLs... tsk tsk...
My fear is that since the subject of the drama is unrequited love, would Seo Woo and Ha Won not actually end up together in the end? Ha Won's unrequited love for Ji Soo and Seo Woo for Ha Won. In the teaser, Seo Woo will fall for Ha Won but she wishes for him not to find out about her feelings. Or what if Ha Won will eventually fall for Seo Woo but he himself won't tell either and thus will remain unrequited. If the theme of the drama is to show that one-sided love can also give comfort, then I think they might go that route, that in the end unrequited love will always be unrequited, a flower that's not even given a chance to bloom, but still something worth giving you healing and such comfort... of loving a certain person.
Other info from the poster: One Ok Rock will write a theme song; Kitamura Kazuki is in the cast. From news sites:…
Haha.. I was gonna post it too coz I just opened my IG and saw that One Ok Rock also posted it on their IG ~ am glad they're singing the theme song yet again :)
And yay, Tao is still in the cast as well ~~ she's gorgeous in that purple outfit ^^
Really hope they don't turn this into a romance somehow, sometimes it's better just to have a good thriller drama…
Just a hint/subtle romance would be enough... since this is mainly thriller so I don't think there will be full-on romance, the main leads don't have time for it anyways... LOL.. so just a pinch would suffice...
Okay, so it's okay that we're all confused as of now. The chief PD of the drama said, "After the first episode, some viewers said the drama was ‘difficult to understand’ and ‘unfamiliar.’ There were certain scenes where there was no explanation to aid understanding, but in planning the drama, we wanted to relay a feeling of unfamiliarity rather than familiarity and comfort. From episodes two, three, and on, the unexpected elements from episode one will be resolved. From what it is that Ha Won does at work, to how Seo Woo feels when she meets him, all will be revealed.” (Source: Soompi)
I almost forgot that the concept of this drama is about unrequited love or one-sided love. And according to him, they wanna show that 'one-sided love' can be a source of comfort.
I'll say they're doing a pretty good job of confusing us and giving that unfamiliarity... LOL...
Is that why they killed off Ji Soo, since I wonder why she is not one of the main characters. I think this would have been more interesting if they didn't kill her off, because then it would have been between Ha Won's first love and his newly found love, and it'll be how he'll let go of JS willingly. Since most dramas use this trope of killing the 'first love' just to pave the way for the main leads, so I thought it would be nice if that wasn't the case here. From the very first time HW met SW, he is already intrigued by her so it would be great if they go from there...
but anyways, I'm not the writer so looking forward to how the relationship of the main leads develop :)
Like what others said, there's some things in Ep 1 that aren't clear enough that you have to really pay attention to what's happening and read between the lines. But idk, for some reason, I'm really drawn to it, since I always like dramas that focus more on deeper things, so I guess in this type of a drama, we'll eventually get the whole picture as we go along with the episodes. (hopefully~). I mean, that's the fun thing about it, right? We slowly get to it bits by bits.
I feel like Kdramas now are becoming more of a Jdrama with its slife of life elements and rawness, which I have always love in Jdramas.

I also wonder if later in the episodes, the "Seo Woo, stay", HW will say it to her.

Did Xiao Zhan's issue finally die down?
