Not sure but I don't think that was deliberately put out there to shame anyone or demean someone. Because when I watched it, it didn't give me that impression, but that's just me^^. Almost all the females here are portrayed to be not your very typical characters who are always presented as weaklings, or someone who needs a man to save their day. Here, they are very much independent and even far stronger (physically/mentally) than other men. So the showing/not showing of the skin is something we don't know whether they did purposely, since we don't know exactly what happens behind the camera^^.
Though, I admit that mostly in dramas, they always characterize fat persons to be unattractive, not just in Korea, it happens everywhere. :)

I think the tags were based on the synopsis way before this drama airs, which was a little bit different. I also think some of it was based on the webtoon's storyline. MDL probably didn't change it.
