haha! just killing some time waiting for new episodes. some mentioned they filmed in a church, too, so I guess that's where the marriage/wedding ending will come from.
I also find it intriguing that Sejin keeps on saying the wrong name "Mi-ji" coz it's actually Mirae. Like idk if the writer purposely made him like that or there's a bigger reason why he can't even remember names properly ~
Hosu doing crochet everywhere is just too adorable, tho. Even the way he holds the needle is very amateur ~ And fun fact, Boyoung actually doesn't know how to crochet 😅
Also, I might be ahead of myself here, but I think we'll prolly get a wedding scene or a married life at the end. Someone pointed this out before on X, that I almost missed, is that on Ep. 1, just before Mi-ji started her narration, as she opens what seems to be a photo album, you can actually see that she has a ring on her finger. Boyoung was wearing the same shirt when Song Hye Kyo sent her a food truck during filming, and she's wearing a ring. It was also prolly their wrap-up scene coz there was a video of Boyoung and Jinyoung together with the crew sending their greetings as they wrap up ~
Hosu being Mi-ji's no. 1 defender. He won't let anyone talk badly about her, even Mi-ji herself.
I know there were some people who wanted Hosu to actually know it's Mi-ji but just pretending and/or worried that his feelings might channel for Mirae, however it's not something to be worried about coz what's really important is what he feels. His heart is in the right place. He doesn't need to know the face because his heart tells him so. Jinyoung even said the same, that it's quite hard to explain how he knows because it's in the form of a feeling.
During the commentary on Eps. 3-4, Boyoung said that ofc eventually Hosu will find out, but the incident leading up to it is what's exciting, and Jinyoung also said when filming it, he feels like his heart will explode 🤭I'm betting it'll prolly be that drunken scene of Mi-ji coz them standing face to face with snow in the background is a perfect atmosphere for a confession ~ Just hoping that won't be the end of Ep. 6, tho, coz somehow I noticed the best endings are the Sunday episodes.
one thing that keeps bothering me is the fact that mirae didn't tell miji these things. about her first love and…
Mirae seems to be the type who doesn't pry into other people's lives. Even tho Hosu did tell her Miji is his first love, it's not her place to be telling it to Miji, it's Hosu's. It's also the reason why she didn't tell Mi-Ji about Hosu's half body almost being destroyed when they were younger.
out of 4 episodes 3 of them were from Miji pov and her backstory, i want to understand Mirae as well
The story centers around Mi-ji's POV, that's why. She's the narrator of the story. The Korean title itself says it, 미지의 서울, which translates to Unknown (Miji) Seoul, which was the initial English title for the drama before they changed it to Our Unwritten Seoul. So she is the central character of the story. Pretty sure we'll get to Mirae's background later on as with all the other secondary characters are ~
I kinda doubt he knows it was Miji because he went like "he was just guilty about the whistleblow case that's…
Mi-ji gaslighted him so bad that she's really Mirae, which is kinda valid since they don't really see each other often and there had been a distance between them prolly since she injured her leg when they were younger. Dude even made a sad face when she denied it so hard. His mind is telling him it's Mirae, Mirae, but his heart is Mi-ji Mi-ji 😅
I read his character description before this drama aired. He narrowly escaped death due to a car accident that took his father's life. He had 12 surgeries. He has burn scars on his left arm and left leg built with an artificial bone. Also why he lost his hearing on his left ear.
am I the only one who likes the sister (MI Rae) more with the town friend than with the man who hired her?? feel…
I like both coz they give two different types of chemistry. I see more of the romantic vibe with MiHo but with Mirae x Sejin, I don't see it yet. I think it depends on what the viewers enjoy on who they will root between the two.
“I was worried that someone else might open the only door that I was able to open.” -- Miji
Also, I didn't expect that the reason Miji dated her ex (coz I've been wondering about that since the first ep) was actually because she closed her heart 🥲
Idk but watching this drama is like freeing me of something and healing something that's not broken. The overall tone of the drama is a bit quiet, and yet it's so loud, if you know what I mean.
Also, I didn't expect the reason for Miji injuring herself and losing her athletic capabilities. And Hosu is such a loser in love, be it young or old. His mind says it's not Miji, but his heart says otherwise. He should take that as a sign that his heart is beating for the same person ~

Let's just say Hosu is down so bad that whatever her girl says is true, it's true, even if that's her own identity 🤭
