I'd have to say... this is probably one of the better dramas where the lead goes into a different world, whether through time travel, dreaming, futuristic machine, etc. Although the Main lead is goofy, just like all of Zhao Lusi's characters, she never truly forgets her true self, that she is a writer and uses the experiences within her dream to further improve her skills in writing.

How does the Lee Lim who kills himself in the past.... arrive in the same timeline that we are watching right now?

how does LG1 keep the same appearance? He can't be into the timezone area because his half of the whip disappeared?

I think it was the episode before the finale where he remembers her. The problem goes away because *SPOILERS* he becomes human again.

From watching the drama, I think he is a first cousin to the princes. Meaning the first "beyle's" father is brother to the Kangxi Emperor. On wikipedia, it states that beyle is usually the son of a qinwang, and qinwangs are Princes of the First Rank. Sometimes from they are princes of previous Emperors. The ranking system in the Qing Dynasty is a little more confusing than other dynasties.
