i completely agree. This drama made me question whether Haochen is right or wrong. In his mind, he NEEDS Xuanji to go back to heaven and become the god of war again, which will protect the three worlds from being at war again. Xuanji is the key to peace in his perspective. Of course this sounds "right" on paper, but when we watch the drama, he's just a selfish prick, trying to impose his will on people.

Not to be mean, but she is dumb. Even with her 6th senses, she is still a blank sheet a paper, since she's never experienced anger, guilt, betrayal, etc. She doesn't know what it means to be lied to, until she discovers who Sifeng really is. That is when her heart broke, because the person she trusted the most lied to her. But even then, she still decides to find Sifeng and ask him face to face, which shows that she is giving him a chance to repair their relationship. As to why she trusts her father and Haochen...... one is her biological father who raised her and one is her senior brother/teacher who taught her in those 4 years. In her eyes, they haven't done anything that would hurt her or lie to her. Since she is still new to emotions, it is hard for her to comprehend even the tiniest of manipulations .

As of right now which is episode 44, he does not want to destroy Mosha Xing, since that is Xuanji. He wants everyone to believe Sifeng is Mosha Xing, kill him, and then kill the rest of Lizhe Palace/demons. If so, no demon will be left to use the 4 keys to bring back Wu Zhi Qi, since Wu Zhi Qi is the one who also knows that Xuanji is the real Mosha Xing.
But you could be right that if Mosha Xing dies, then Xuanji dies. We haven't been shown how the two work.

Basically, Mosha Xing can only be "revived" if Xuanji is in that cave with her blood. Haochen wants Xuanji to basically be his slave and follow his instructions so she can go back to heaven as the god of war, without any memories of the past. By memories, im talking about Haochen wiping her memories, reasons for Xuanji to rebel in heaven, and herself being the Mosha Xing. If Xuanji follows all his directions, the demons will be wiped out, and she will be the obedient god of war, which is a win-win scenario for Haochen.

By creation, i'm meaning creating her identity as god of war. She walks up to him with no memory of who she is and what she is, until Haochen tells her she is now heaven's god of war and gives her the god of war's power,armor and weapon. Her actual creation, like creating her body, is not seen. So who knows?

yea, in one of the flashbacks, the drama shows Haochen creating the god of war, giving her armor and letting her pick the sword, etc.

But i completely agree with you. Haochen just wants Xuanji to himself, because she is his creation. He also believes that the heaven needs a god of war.
Who knows what Haochen really believes?

which is why I think this drama does a great job in questioning what is good and what is wrong? The choices that the main leads makes/made/will make will affect the three worlds. The best example will have to be Haochen. Yes, I dislike how he manipulates Xuanji and basically wants her to be his slave, but is he wrong in the aspect of saving the three world? If she fails in this reincarnation in the human world, she won't be able to go to the heaven world and be the god of war. If that happens, then the god of war would not exist to face her counterpart/herself, who is the Mosha Xing(star). But of course, we will always support Sifeng, since his heart is always loving Xuanji now and in his past 9 lives.

Even though the drama only shows a glimpse of the end of each lives and how he dies for her every time, those scenes help viewers sympathize so much with Sifeng to the point where I'm guessing no one wants him to die for her this time as well. I don't want to discourage you from watching, but the story does become sadder due to misunderstandings and choice between love/duty. But i think the ending is a happy ending

I don't think people should be mad at Xuanji for not believing in Sifeng. Even if she has regained her senses, I think she is still a baby with a clean slate. She is experiencing for the first time what it means to be tricked, lied to, or other kinds of feelings. It is hard for her to choose between the love of her life and her family. It also doesn't help that HaoChen is manipulating her.....

I don't think I've seen a drama where the ML suffers as much as sifeng..... yes i'm counting his 9 lives too. They did a great job showing those 9 lives too. It's so emotional, and makes me question, is his love for her really worth it?

In actual history, the ML did not have a happy ending, but who knows what will happen in this drama.

Part of her negative review deals with her ability to distinguish the dubbed voices and how it confuses her. I don't think that should discourage you from watching this drama, unless it distracts you also. AvenueX's reviews are not completely wrong either, since the writing is at times pretty bad. The writing is mostly "tell, not show", which at times make me pull my hair out. But the chemistry between the ML and FL just makes the drama better, and Li Qin is absolutely beautiful. The romance is done incredibly well, where I can't stop watching them. Give it a try and see if you like it or not.

This is one of those dramas where I felt like I wasted time due to the ending.
